Why don't I feel better after getting the new nickname?

A block street in my country is now dubbed "Calle La Luna" (The Moon Street) due to not several holes but craters that can be found on the street if there's still a black coat of something there and not just dirt and small stones. The interesting part of it is that the correspondent municipality already received a donation of 99 000 liters (no idea of how many ounces that might be) of that short lived black mix they use to make the streets and most of it if not all has already disappeared since 2010... And people still want to think politicians are unable to make a white elephant disappear just by means of mind control techniques.

I have just heard a rumor that might explain why I have not been able to locate a collection of music used in the TV show of the Smurfs for years: Aparently a huge ammount of the music is actually famous classical music, some arranged slightly, some not.
As much as I find this a great choice, it annoys me just as much. Because if that is true, there is no real chance to find something like a OST CD somewhere. =(

While nobody likes the sort of fundamentalist religious type who threatens you with fire and brimstone for stepping out of line, self-righteous atheists who smugly harp on about how "You'd never see an atheist murdering babies" and who dodge the bullet every time you point out that regimes like Soviet Russia were atheistic with the post pathetic excuses in history are equally annoying as the Bible-bashers.

So, to sort out the idealogical issues once and for all, I propose that every few years all the atheists and all the believers select a couple of champions to duke it out in gladiatorial combat and whichever side wins gets to choose what we believe until the next tournament. Anyone who doesn't like it can take it up with the arena lions.

... Actually, this would be an awesome way to do our elections. Think of how many politicians we could get rid of!
