Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
This week, DerVVulfman reported that RMRK is closing. Indeed, they too will be ending their service by the end of the year. He did relay tht he had already begun work on archiving the site as he is with RPGMaker Webs. This news was pretty much a surprise, to members like KDC, Ace_V and Remi-chan.

Another week has passed, and DerVVulfman announced that his RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor is now venturing into the Tutorials forum. In fact, he not only finished grabbing all the resource threads, but had already grabbed all the XP, VX and MZ tutorials.

Occasions
MetalRenard wished to give a friendly reminder that the 2026 Game Jam begins the end of this month. A game jam based on Fae and/or Nature, it should be fun for all.

This week, Ebanyle came by after learning that RPGMaker Webs was closing down. She hadn't logged into Webs or the community at large in few years, but wanted to let everyone know she's still around.

Though having retired from the Game Making scene for a while, Ashborn had an itch and felt like getting back into development, though surprised that RPGMaker Webs was now closing. Ashborn has been in the community for over a decade.

General Chat
Last week, the realization that Microsoft repaired updates which would make life easier was What's on the mind of KDC. Indeed, this week he left Linux and installed Windows 10 which is more compatible with his setup. kyonides was worried it would be a problem for KDC, reminding him of Steam's discontinuance of Windows 10 support, but KDC replied it was related to older 32-bit Windows builds. Meanwhile, DerVVulfman relayed that Komodo Palace still sells non-Steam editions, though he also suggests catching them on sale.

Games Development
Complete Projects
Already released in time for the Beach Pride RPG Maker Jam is Her Heart, Anew 2, a game designed by Starmage and JoTerra854. A prequel over two-hundred years before the events of "Her Heart, Anew", you now see the World of Yven mere decades into the age of Arcane Renaissance, and embark upon an adventure as an elven crusader tasked to rescue a missing lord. A tale of self discovery awaits.

Tutorials
This past week, DerVVulfman began working on acquiring all of the TUTORIALS from RM WEBS, and made significant progress. He is only downloading the first page of each thread within, unless the thread called for multiple pages. However, he had archived all the tutorials within the board's RPGMaker XP, VX and RPGMaker MV subforums.

Material Development
Tools
Major advancements were made to the HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable, with kyondes adding pre-defined default settings if neither the INI fie nor input directory exists. He also added new test conditions so the executable knows whether it has suddenly lost focus as if the player decided to open a new application such as notepad, an instance that would normally leave the game paused. But on top of that, he added new toggle options to the audio module itself, options that could easily work with the new lost focus system to pause audio playback when inactive. There was an incident that required the removal of the first release with these new features, but its was followed by an upgrade edition that added new options to set start and end loop points with OggVorbis tracks for those that want music to begin with an opening flourish and execute a continuous loop without a return to the audio's opening. Do note that RPGMaker XP users have a differently constructed audio module, it being in the main RPG module itself, so some statements are slightly different between the two.

Resources Database
It took some time, but DerVVulfman finished scouring through the RESOURCES OF RM WEBS RESOURCES. After finishing his work on downloading pages from the Engine Specific resources, he turned his gaze to those resources that were meant to be general in design. However, he noted that many were still designed for one maker or another. And towards the end of his archiving, he found more and moer dead links until the last push forward, he found many threads with no salvagable content at all.

2D Resources
The desert is a harsh mistress, for those that come across her must be prepared. And prepared is a soldier that has been added to the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. Clad in khakis d wearing vest armor in camo, a new figure has appeared. With brown crewcut hair, this is a new military figure ready to set himself out among the dunes.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
The gallery within the forum's museum might think there was a bit of monkey business going on when she came by with the next piece for display. But there are those that are going ape with the new portrait within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing! With wavy locks of marigold, Trixie lives up to her name as someone that is completely unpredictable. And woe for anyone who thinks that marriage settled her down, this simian socializer is a real party animal. But the saying in vino veritas sadly describes her well, for in alcohol her anger is released. To Remi-chan's surprise, this was a work that took less than six hours to create, even with a full body portrai with a normal humanist anatomy. Perhaps it was that this is one of the few works where the subject actually dons footwear. Be that as it may, the Misfortune of Black Friday has a speed draw for any who wishes to see her creation.

Well, that's it for this week.

Dear friends,

Another website has joined RPGMakerWebs with closure, and that site is:

They are paid up until the end of the year. However, after that, they will be gone.

Make no mistake, archiving has already begun. And surprisingly it hasn't near as many script or plugin resources as RPGMaker Webs or others.   In fact, I can safely state that I have already downloaded viable threads for RPGMaker XP, VXAce and RPGMaker MV scripts.

... Why oh why is there more RPGMaker VX scripts?   Well... that's next after my venture into more WEBS archiving.  And that followed by its resources and (expectingly) Completed Projects forums.

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
DerVVulfman announced that he finished working upon the RPGMaker VX, and with that the last of the Engine specific resources in his RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor.

Occasions
Someone spiffy came into the forum and remembers the earliest days when the RPGMaker line made its way into the community. Going by yukinon, our newest member harkens back when Don Miguesl translated RPGMaker 2000 and released it to western audiences. Having taken a hiatus for over a decade, yukinon is now a software engineer and RPGMaker MZ is their current gam engine of choice.

General Chat
Sofrware is What's on the mind of community members this week. Forced into Linux from overly massive windows updates, KDC discovers that Microsoft found it was an issue with the updates themselves and that Microsoft is working upon the repairs. He has other things to also take care of, but is waiting upon Microsoft in this instance. Meanwhile, Remi-chan challenged herself to enter into a game jam contest to prove to herself she could, and then ended the week relaxing to some Palworld with friends.

Games Development
Development Discussion
Breaking away from the norm and thinking outside of the box was soemething that Was up with RMers like kyonides. His latest endeavor is to allow rendered assets on one map be copy-pasted into other maps. His current work has the data saved in outside files, but he is working to streamline the system and have the content stored within savegame files. After that, Remi-chan gave screenshots and video presentations of her game-jam entry, one that was intended to be a quickly made entry but became a more polished work. She also presented more spritework by Xiie, but is very confused as to the silence of her character portrait artist that she hasn't heard from in a long time.

Several pics from Remi-chan's new game made their way into theMaps and screenshots thread, whether they be outdoor shots of a town with a rat infestation, an underground prison carved from stone, or a beachside resort with a slight eating disorder stemming from a scantily clad demoness with an eating disorder.

Complete Projects
It seems that someone else has discovered Rave Heart+ and happily rendered piece after piece of fan art for Stramage to show off. Presenting chibi-styled works by Applemango, we get to see characters like Chad and Zephyr from Gaia's Melody together, and Klein and Veronica in other works. But Applemango is not alone as we get a glimpse of Zazir done in the Grisaille style by sheshhdawg, it yet another commission by BerryB.

Upcoming Projects
What does a snooty angel masquerading as a mortal and a down-on-the-luck magic user who just got fired from her last job have in common? The answer is Remi-chan and her recent entry into a Pride-Month Game Jam competiion entitled YEN: Yearning the Eternal Night. Taken from the back-story of Fantasia and the mind of Remi-chan, Yen is a tale of two whom met by accident, one on a mission to find what corrupts a local town while the other whose prays for a better life. Vibrant shades of pink, exotic art, rodents run amok, and more are in this game jam entry.

KDC announced that, while still on Hiatus, work upon Memorie is able to resume after having transferred his system to Linux. He had issues with the Linux edition of Steam due to the his drive formatted in NTFS, and other issues also connected to Linux use on his system. What forced his hand to transfer to Linux was the result of a faulty series of updates by Microsoft, and he has plans to restore his PC back to Windows once the faulty updates have been repaired.

Harken back to the late 80s before the Playstation era and games like Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy were fresh. It is this innocents in gameplay where Knight of Light by Rose Guardian lives. Her tale revolves around a young man who became a knight and blessed with the legendary Spear of Destiny. However, the tale wans that the God of Logic and Order would return to claim the spear and use it against mortalkind that he felt wronged him.

General Support
Early this week, Rose Guardian had an issue where RPG Maker MZ won't deploy games when the exclude unused files feature is checked. DerVVulfman, who admits to not having the engine, said he looked into it and found that others had the same issue and that it came down to the feature built into both RPGMaker MV and MZ didn't account for resources used by all plugins and suggested a tool he discovered. While Rose Guardian feels like its not related to plugins, she is planning to save up and acquire the tool.

Material Development
Tools
With the latest edition of HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable, kyonides was able to allow accurate retrieval of the duration of midi files despite it being flexible and unlike audio formats. And kyonides is working to ensure game integrity by adding SHA-256 hash testing capabilities. Both available for both Linux and WIndows systems.

Scripts Database
RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
For anyone who wishes to go beyond the number of tiles within their map's tileset and draw upon those within another, kyonides worked upon KBuild XP. With it, you do not copy events from one to another like certain event spawner scripts, but are able to copy the tilework of a map to other areas. There were some issues with the initial demo, the first being a command exclusive to HiddenChest. But since corrected.

Resources Database
DerVVulfman's work on obtaining RM WEBS MAKER SPECIFIC RESOURCES continued, going through and acquiring the main page for every RPGMaker MV resource thread. And with that, he finished archiving the forum designated for all engine specific content.

2D Resources
No, the person in the khakis and desert garb is not Brendan Frasier, but one more sand dweller in the Sahara series of characters found with the other Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. Though he is of lighter hair and blue eys, he wears the same desert garb as the otherss that Ace_V made this past month. And he includes a second render with protective eyewear for when sandstorms come into play.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
With ribbon-trimmed nodachis in each hand, she awaits. With magics swirling around her older than the universe itself, she readies. For she is the Lady Akra Olna, and with hair obsidian and alabaster, her portrait is now on display within the Gallery dedicated to Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!

Having trekked for so long, our celestial artist had to stop for a time to get some new pumps. But now that she's feeling fashionable, Starmage's Arts and Training Journey can now continue. This week, she's visited a friend who had commissioned fan art for her, and produced a rendering of Crampax from a fangame by BerryB in all his wintery glory. And with a striking defensive posture, the raven haired sorceress with a amethyst tipped magus staff is Starmage's tribute to Eirf's game Shadow's of the Earth!

Is there anything more adorable than children at play? To one individual within the Art deck of Demos "Rise Evil" Kerrigan, that might be a matter of opinion. For his recent creation has a cute light-haired girl of roughly eight ready to spring her feline side upon her unsuspecting, winged, adopted older-sister. A cat is ready to pounce upon a bird within this world that Rise Evil is returning in vivid colors.

Literature
As work progresses upon her game, coming ever so close to its final conflict, new pages have been sewn into the leather-bound tome of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~. For viewing in the forum's museum, the latest chapter allows one to glance into the mind of the Regent of Zen Aneia and her resolution to face the Herald of Calamity.

Filmography
Along with her submission into a pride month themed game jam, new clips have been prepared within Remi-chan's Cinematic Theatre. Simple teasers, but three in total featuring the game's protagonists, the numerous characters that are encountered in the game's sprawling world, and to show how expansive her game's universe extends.

Well, that's it for this week.

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
Throughout the week, DerVVulfman continued the efforts at RPGMaker Webs Archiving, and finished acquiring the graphic resources dedicated to the RPGMaker VX and VXAce engine. However, he remarked that many resources were lost due to the image hosting sites that were used.

Occasions
Giving the members ample time to prepare, MetalRenard announced the upcoming 2026 Game Jam that begins at the end of July. A Ten day affair, members are free to make a simple game in under four days for fun that centers around fairies or nature, with a few limitations of their choice.

A long time member of the RPG Game making community has now appeared. After the announcement Save-Point was having a game jam, Coyotecraft decided to introduce himself within the forum, though he has been a member of the Discord for some time.

Tech Talk
The video game industry was certainly front and center in this week's News of the Cyber World as a major lobbyist for gaming industry declared private minecraft servers and the like piracy, all while "Stop Killing Games" seeks game preservation. Though it worked well for Sony in recent history, they are scaling back games for the PC while also annoucing the discontinuation of physical media for their playstation games. Other hot topics such as Kadokawa, the makers of Elden Ring and the RPGMaker engine line, being in an interior civil war and Meta's request to have charges violating the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act dropped also hit the news.

Games Development
Development Discussion
If you inquire What's up among our RMers, kyonides is encountering headaches with midi files, the various files offering different outputs when trying to establsh a means to calculate a melody's duration.

Complete Projects
Starmage has been gushing as she has received fan-art after fan-art forRave Heart+ almost daily thanks to her friend, Berry-B. Full body portraits of Ellemine, Chibi artwork of the cast, and even fan-service bikini bathingsuit watergun murals have been presented. And who knows what will show up next?

Upcoming Projects
KDC has put Memorie on a temporary hiatus once more. Due to the myriad Windows 11 updates, he is quickly running out of hard drive space and has plans to move over to Linux. However, it will also take time to set things up after migration.

Tutorials
It was five years when MetalRenard began his journey into Learning GDScript, posting examples of his wok. But now, he is happy to state that he is now a full-time web developer thanks to his study.

Material Development
Scripts Database
HiddenChest (RGSS1-3) Engine
The latest update to HiddenPlayList XP, kyonides's Jukebox script for the HiddenChest executable, now includes a timelapse counter. Along with that, more instructions on use were added to the main post.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
This week, DerVV's Tutorial Windows was unveiled. A message window system of sorts, meant for in-game tutorials. The system tracks what help documents have been shown, and ensures they are not reshown without the need of default RPG Maker switches. And built into the instructions, a discussion how to insert said windows into custom minigames and applications.

The Two-Stage Crafting script by DerVVulfman is a system to give a little simulation of the player or party having to put effort into the actual creation of items. While it only works on creating items from others, it allows one to create individual workstations that remember items placed within each and allows for selective crafting stations for different purposes.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
DerVVulfman gave one final push in archiving the remaining RMVX and ACE PAGES from RPGMakerWebs.com since it has closed up. He noted that some content was lost because of thread authors that tried monetizing their content with the now-lost ad.fly services. But also noted that he was familiar with the author who also did the same within RPG Maker Central.

Resources Database
beginning this month, DerVVulfman began working on archiving the MAKER SPECIFIC RESOURCES from RPGMakerWeb.com. He has progressed far this week, having archived graphic resources specific to most enterbrain engines, only having those for RPGMaker MV left to attack.

2D Resources
The nomads of the Sahara are in sever trouble. While they have sufficient protective gear, the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V now introduces a new character, a girl with sassy purple hair. Garbed in the same goggles, masks and other protections, one question remains. Who is going to protect the tribe from her?

Well, that's it for this week.

SPECIAL! RM WEBS RESOURCES (Limited Time)
Posted by: DerVVulfman - 07-01-2026, 09:32 PM - Forum: Resources Database - Replies (11)

Gonna keep this short and sweet.  This page is to hold zip/compressed files containing web pages that are found within the RESOURCE CENTRAL board of RPGMaker Web, this meaning Maker Specific and all other resources.  They are not divided by characterset vs background vs Tile.  They are in files solely based on the MAKER subforum they were in.

Only a couple threads had multiple pages. some appear blank because WEB's code didn't work with the site the graphics were within. A few appear blank, but on upening with a text file editor, you may find URLS to files that can be 'recovered' with the Internet Archive.  Fortunately, quite a few had the resources themselves saved within the web page's attached folder, while others have live IMGUR links.

Only a few were lost.

Announcements and Updates
Twice tis week had DerVVulfman given updates about the RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor, the first time that he was one third the way through downloading the webpages to the now-frozen site's RPGMaker VXAce repository, and the second that he was now more than halfway complete in that process.

Occasions
Near the end of the week, SniffSniff came in to the community in search of a script to fix graphic stretching issues he's encountered within his RPGMaker project.

Games Development
Development Discussion
After some time, kyonides finally solving an issue was a major annoyance. And finding that the root cause was essentially stupid was What's up, as a fellow RMers. He admits it was something in which he was involved, but it was something completely unforseen. Meanwhile, Remi-chan has been working on a Game Jam entry for Pride month involving two catgirls and their misadventures. Existing characters from her Remi-verse, but with newly created facial expressions. She received more character sprites from Xiie (or Rune) who is her spritework artist, but not a word from her portrait artist as yet.

Four images have now appeared within the Maps and Screenshots thread as Remi-chan provided a glimpse of characters in her upcoming Game Jam entry, Yen. Winged girls in short skirts and sassy-mouthed catgirls are featured in the small village with a wooded area nearby.

Much to her surprise, BerryB commissioned more fan-art to be created for Starmage's game, Rave Heart+. Continuing from last week, Starmage received an enticing shot of Lyra/Nocturna with wonderful lighting and subtle tones by Aikayo. Chad was rendered by Ratata in both monochrome and sharp colors as he carries his heavyblade. And returning this week is Klein brandishing is jade blade in sharp and vibrant colors, the illustration by Thea_Sketch. Bot other than that, Starmage also proudly announced that Rave Heart+ is now on sale. At 30% off, you can catch it at Steam's Summer Sale for a mere $6.99(USD) for WELL over a week.

This week, the latest version of HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable has been released, and with it the end of the annoying chirp that sounds whenever Midi audio play back is concerned. For more precision in their musical endeavors, kyondes added the ability to harness samples, sample rates and seconds to OGG, MP3 and even Midi music playback, though only for that within the BGM folder, And though the ability to play OGV movies does not function in the Windows port of HiddenChest as it does in Linux, he set up the system to merely deliver a 'false' return to prevent errors.

Isn't it annoying that you can move around here or there in a map, but some areas you are just forbidden to go across? Not anymore. With KTrespass XP by kyonides, the intrepid game developer can be crafty and set up a map with tiles blocked, only to be open and available for the player if a custom item is held in possession. It utilizes the tile ID of your tileset within RPGMaker VX to determine what tiles can block the player until such items are held.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
DerVVulfman is continuing his work to download and save RMWEBS RMVX ACE PAGES, making daily posts of ten pages each.beginning this past Tuesday. In a five day span, he has acquired fifty inde pages full of scripts, with up to twenty scripts each page considering some having dead links. However, within the short week's time, he has acquired over half of the RPGMaker VXAce scripts from the site which are the last of the archives before he tackles another major section..

After discovering that Helladen's download links have broken, Sneezycat chose to craft her own version of the Skip Party Command Window. Not an edit of Helladen's by any sort, Sneezycat laboured to create her own version of the patch that eliminates the Fight/Escape window that appears within Yanfly's YEA - Battle Engine. So for that which has been lost over the years, Sneezycat has come to the aid with a fresh alternative.

Nomads and clans that cross the saharas are not often male exclusive, and tribes would ne'er survive were that the case. But fear not as the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V now includes the first of the female sand dwellers. With legs more slender and a top fitted and left open, a chestnut haired lass now appears. But for Ace_V, that is not enough. As Liet-Kynes from Dune would describe her, she is a desert creature, and knows that she would need to be protected. And so three other sprites had followed, her hair concealed, face covered, and eyes protected from the damaging sands.

Stationed outide the trefoil archway and oaken doors of our forum's museum are a pair of ushers, for they have the dubious task of ensuring one is of age if they wish to visit upon the latest work within. For indeed, the gallery presenting Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing! now depicts a maiden as provocative as she is deadly.Clad only in the thinnest of silks that cover little and in a posture that some would call dangerous, the third of the Grand ArchDemons presents herself. Herself already a vision in scarlet, is presented in a setting filled with crimson hues, a work that took Remi-chan over ten hours to produce.

What say you, you who wishes to enter the marble halls of the great library of Save-Point. As this week, within the Accord of Animus, one more page of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~ has been thus bound. Assaulted and nearly crippled, only to be lit afire and left as ash, the Bloodstar had returned for retribution. Seductive after her death even as she was in life, she preyed upon the men who sought her ruin and demise. To fire she went, and to fire for all eternity was the fate she gave.

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Announcements and Updates
Last week, DerVVulfman announced the ongoing RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor as the former dedicated site promoting the enterbrain RPGMaker series of game engines was closing in favor of another by GatchaGatchaGames. Since then, DerVVulfman repeately returned to announce the upload of zip files containing webpages belonging to the RPGMaker MV board, to the RPGMaker VX board and then with the RPGMaker XP boards.

Occasions
After being told about our community by Remi-chan, Zeigfried McBacon showed up. He's been using RPGMaker for two decades, and active in the communities since 2007. His skills lean more towards using the event system, the heart of any game developing engine, a fan of bacon, and a fan of Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

EmperorTEK has been using RPGMaker XP for a year, and came by after seeing the size of our scripts database. And Save-Point is the first forum that EmperorTek's ever joined.

Sneezycat is not new to the RPGMaker line of engines, beginning with RPGMaker XP and venturing into RPGMaker VXAce in 2013. Now returned after a long hiatur, Sneezycat is working on a Music Player script for RPGMaker VXAce.

As a little gift to Starmage, Berry B commissioned a couple of pieces of fan art for Rave Heart+. The first work was created by Wolffreak who did some brush art to create Sora. And after that, kagunami612 presented Flora in Bunny-styled hoodie with a contemporary anime/manga style.

Upcoming Projects
To her surprise, Starmage received new fan art for BlueSkies 3. Yet one more commission by Berry B, the art is a render of both Ziegfriedn and Arthur by Asteri`²⁶.

A new version of HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable has been released, fixing directory bugs and added a feature to retrieve the values of the Rect class and return them as an array. But on top of that, he updated the innate audio module to add two more Background Music and two more Background Ambient Sound channels. While work was accomplished to play OGV movie/video files, it currently functions only for the Linux port.

Scripts Database
HiddenChest (RGSS1-3) Engine
Every game engine seems to have at least one JukeBox script, so kyonides crafted HiddenPlayList XP for HiddenChest.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
This week, kyonides showed up with a hammer to shatter the fourth wall, as his new script was gifted the name KStolenBGM XP for those who wish to make the appearance that the player stole the background music from the map. One need not be reliant solely upon map events with the Play BGM command to decide if music is returned, kyonides stores the IDs of the maps that can no longer perform their defined melodies.

With the closure of RPGMaker Webs, DerVVulfman made a thread dedicated to The RPGMaker XP topics from RMWEBS. The thread has a single link to a 480MB zip file which contains the first post to every XP topic from RPGMakerWeb's Plugins page with the exception of a smattering of pages where the content was deleted or unsalvageable. However, it should be noted that most of the content was posted by kyonides and has already existed within our board.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
After some time in development, kyonides took his time porting his RPGMaker XP script to RPGMaker VXAce and released ChooseFoes ACE. Much like the original, any time a battle is set to begin, a menu appears where the player may choose from a number of foes that are part of the mao's wandering monster's table. This port's current version allows for the menu to appear when a defined piece of armor is equipped or if warranted by the party's level.

As part of a request from a member of RPGMaker Web, kyonides put together Enter Monster Message ACE. Simplistic in nature, it allows for a custom message to appear before battle begins indicating the enemies being faced and their general attitude. The script includes a section to create custom messages as well as another to link enemies to their preferred statements.

With the closure of RPGMaker Webs, DerVVulfman made a thread dedicated to The RPGMaker VX topics from RMWEBS. The thread has a single link to a 260MB zip file which contains the first post to every VX topic from RPGMakerWeb's Plugins page with the exception of a smattering of pages where the content was deleted or unsalvageable. However, it should be noted that the bulk of the content is by kyonides and has like posts already within our board.

Plugins and Mods
RPGMaker MV/MZ Engines
Last week, DerVVulfman created a new thread dedicated to the RPGMaker Plugins from RPGMaker Webs after downloading webpages from the now closed site. But when creaeted, he only had the web pages for RPGMaker MZ plugins. This week, he visited the topic three more times, uploading all of the RPGMaker MV plugins he was able to save. However, he admits some posts were not copied as the threads had their content self-deleted.

Are you making a game where denizens live in the Sahara, or are they walking the sands of Tunisia? For those who have need of sprites garbed in desert fasion, the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V now has one more. Same as the others, the latest sand dweller now has darkened goggles to protect his eyes against both sandstorms and the scorching rays of the sun.

Creativity Section

The halls of the forum's museum were wide open, and a speaker stood before the doors to the gallery proclaiming that free will is but an illusion and one's decisions matter naught. This set the stage for the portrait in hues of violet and orchid that was put on display within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing! Her name is Yurigi, and with leathen wings and a spade-tipped tail, this smiling figure draped in raiments of indigo and lilac is not one to underestimate. Slated for Remi-chan's sequel to Fantasia, she is a prophetess who believes everything is part of a clockwork pattern. And this maiden, with her otherworldly appearance akin to the Twins, took ten hours to paint. Though it only takes 17 minutes to watch her creation on video.

Well, that's it for this week.

Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
This week, many were shocked by the news that RPG Maker Web is Closing. Starting anew, GatchaGatchaGames has created another community site and gave its members a mere week's time of posting before RPG Maker Web goes into a read-only mode. And by the end of the year, it will cease to exist. The statement by GatchaGatchaGames reads that even membership accounts will not be transferred, so membership within their new 'guild' requires a new account. But at least all licensed purchases of RPGMaker engines made at KomodoStore remain intact.

For those that are appauled that the site is not only set to close, but destined for erasure, there is now an RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor happening right now. And with that, DerVVulfman posted a link where one can acquire a massize zip file for the RPGMaker MZ plugins. And for others, TouchFuzzy had disabled all protective barriers so they would be able to utilize the Internet Archive for backups.

Feedback and Suggestions
After noticing that RPGMakerWebs was closing, DoubleX rushed over to inform the membership of the new Guild location created by GatchatGatchaGames. However, he also wished to suggest that we Prepare For Increased Forum Activity with the closing of Webs, and that he began promoting our site.

Occasions
Early in her venture in game design, Savayone joined our community. She's made some small games n her past, and is looking forward to socializing and making links in the community She also has some talents in writing and art.

As RPGMaker Webs is vanishing, Crime Robot decided to come by for a spell. A fan of old-school NES and SNES RPGs, he hopes to sticking around and get working on his games. He has some experience, but lost much of his progress was lost with his prior PC.

A fledgeling in the use of RPGMaker MZ is MuyoPopHoneyNutFemios. Invited to our community by Rose Guardian, she too is also an artist and looks forward to making games with this and other gaming engines.

TroyZ is no stranger to video game forums, and has arrived here with other refugees from the now sinking RPGMaker Web. He has hopes to find our community cozy, and was surprised to find his old haunt of RPG Revolutions had been tucked away. He plans to return to scripting since going on a forced hiatus from an earthquake nearly eight years ago.

On the hunt for scripts meant for RPGMaker VXAce is alexncf125. It was luck indeed that our forum was found and the surprise of a large treasure trove of resources wasn't something to just ignore.

Kururu has been in the game making community for a while, and was pleasantly surprised to find DerVVulfman from their old days at HBGames when it was still RMXP.Org.

General Chat
Low and behold, for Nintendo's Lawsuit against Palworld is now BORKED! From all appearances, everything that Nintendo's lawsuit sought to use to crush their rival had been removed from their beta releases by way of patches. And given that the official version still has over a month to appear, the gaming induststry giant's expected return were they to prevail is a meager ¥5 million yen, or $30,000 dollars USD. Neither Nintendo nor PocketPair, Inc.see this as anything more than chump change, and this turn of events is being seen as a victory by many in the gaming industry. But to add insult to Injury, a Costa Rican entrepreneur also struck a devastating blow by winning a Trademark lawsuit against Nintendo and José Mario Alfaro González is able to proceed with naming his supermarket "Super Mario".

Due to the sheer number of events that take place weekly, this is the last Gazette article for the News of the World. This is solely for the quantity of stories that come from day to day and the actual substantive and high rating of the material posted which makes editing the content down in size difficult. And at times, it is difficult to limit what to relay. But this week, the News does cover much that occurred in the Middle East between Israeli retaliation against Hezbollah attacks and the deal to end the war between the US and Iran. Ukraine regained over 200 square miles of its territory back from Putin, while it was revealed Russia conscripted women to poison Ukranian troops on dates, Outgoing DNI Tulsi Gabbard declasisfied and released documents revealing over 100 biological labs in foreign countries that the Biden Administration lied never existed. It's been confirmed that China is building structures in contested waters. And now Vietnam's worry of Bejing's expanding military buildup has it buying cruise missiles from India. The dead body in a car boot found outside Iran's World Cup training camp in Mexico, the Mexican trade group dealer fired after making racist jestures at a South Korean influence during the World Cup, the leader of Tren de Aragua killed by a joint US/Venezuela action, and more hit the news. But while this is the last post for News of the World in the Weekly Gazette, the news itself never stops.

Tech Talk
Social media bans came into focus within the News of the Cyber World with Canada planning to restrict access to anyone sixteen years or younger. But they apparently didn't get the memo from teens in Australia that the same ban is a failure with the variaties of ways they've skirted around them. The poster child for crypto currency scams attempted to appeal his sentance, but the three-judge panel told FTX's Sam Bankman-Fried that the evidence used in court was very robust. Apple is in extreme hot water with their userbase as they are now scaling back what products will remain supported as they're ending support updates for all but the last four years of the iWatch. After protests ignited following the attempted beheading of a Belfast citizen by a Sudanese immigrant (noted in the article posted in News of the World), German state media began calling out Elon Musk and others who called for protest while simultaneously ignoring their calls for "Peaceful. Respectful. Together." However, more violence has ignited in Geneva by violent anti-capitalist protestors clashing with police, setting fires, and vandalising businesses over US President Trump's attendance. California rebuking Iranian hackers attack on their water system, the study of book over eBooks, and more hit this week's cybernews.

Games Development
Development Discussion
If anyone was wondering What's up with their fellow RMers, Steel Beast 6Beets can't help but think how cute a chubby Yasondre from Remi-Chan's game appears. But when kyonides tried using AI search built into search engines to find a Github link, he found the AI instead supplied his online resume. Meanwhile, Remi-chan's long war against RPGMaker Webs has come to an end, though that is with the site now closing. But for her project, Remi-chan has continued adding more flavor text while she received a walking sprite for one of her winged characters.

This week, mauve and heliotrope was the color scheme within the Maps and Screenshots thread as Remi-chan showcased a few of her recenttly received characters that appear within an alien cityscape at midnight. Catgirls and talking mice, together and without carnage, though a wasting may yet soon come.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
Not long ago, kyonides crafted a script where the player could actively decide upon enemies they face from the random encounters roster with ChooseFoes XP. He had made various updates over the weeks, but then thought of a new option. Now, you may be able to flatly skip the battle altogether. But this was followed by one last update, one that ensures that battles are unavoidable and cannot be skipped based upon the terrain in which the party stands.

RPGMaker VX/VXAce (RGSS2/3) Engines
Defeating enemies over and over may be tiresome. However, kyonides thought to add a little diversity when a foe has been eliminated. With that, KEnemy Slain ACE allows one to display a custom message by their defeated opponent.

Plugins and Mods
RPGMaker MV/MZ Engines
A massive zip file is now available, a collection of RM WEBS's OWN RMMZ PAGES. It is up for a limited time, and created by DerVVulfman as there are efforts to archive RPGMakerWeb as it is now closing in preference to a new site owned by Gatcha Gatcha Games. The file size is over 3 Gigabytes and has the first main page of every RPGMaker MZ plugin thread with its code, links and attached JS scripts and image files saved.

Resources Database
2D Resources
In a game that has nomads within the open desert, not every encounter is the same, though they may dress alike for necessity. In that, the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V now has a new sand dweller with a subtle change in their cloth windings.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
Against a clock of her own design, a maiden with a youthful appearance stands before all. But for the figure now within the gallery open wide presenting Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!, dark are her deeds, darker than the deep indigo raiments in which she is clad. It was two months ago that the Eldrich Seer had previously appeared, though this time tempting the unwary with a smile. Only slightly faster in creation than her previous work, a speed draw of 10 minutes is available to watch Remi-chan's craft.

Literature
A creature of total malice, and in her mind a savior to all. It is within the lates pages of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets that we discover that a monster that has devised the deaths of billions in a war built upon hatred and license believes it her means to save mortalkind.

Well, that's it for this week.

  RPGMaker Webs Archiving Endeavor
Posted by: DerVVulfman - 06-14-2026, 12:11 AM - Forum: Announcements and Updates - Replies (19)

There is a team working to prevent the loss of RPGMaker Webs content.  Touchfuzzy had disabled the protective barrier that prevented the Internet Archive from reaching the posts, and the team is working to have as much saved before the system shuts down.

For my part, I just finished downloading the first post of EVERY SINGLE RPGMaker MZ PLUGIN thread in the Released Plugins board.
That can be found HERE in our forum's Scripts Database

A scant couple of posters deleted their content. And a couple just issued requests that were not fulfilled (those ignored). Other than that, the pages either have the CODE for their javascript plugins, links to the off-site sources where they are kept, or are in an ATTACHMENT folder where the actual .js files have been preserved.Z

Thank you.
