No, he has a point. Why I do understand where you are coming from, the ignorance in your last statement is killing me. There are people starving and children being overworked and killed because of profit, much like how animals are being treated. The only difference is that we don't skin and eat humans when they are already dead.

Another thing that's wrong with your argument, is that everyone thinks, and knows that child labour is bad. Yet everyone seems to ignore animal cruelty, why? Because they can't get their minds off those "DELISH McDONALD BURGERS".

That's like saying everyone knows about child labor laws and slavery, but they seem to ignore it because they can't wait for the new Air Jordans.

I only agree with vegetarianism if one is sick due to some cancer or something like that. Meat is too good to be missed! I'd eat kangaroo meat if it doesn't taste bad hahaha but not sh... as some Mc in Japan planned some time ago...

Ok Just because hamburgers are made out of meat its bad ?

It does not make sense thought because we have been eating animals for thousands of years and its not going to stop in a second so i would not count on everyone being vegetarians

I don't eat meat, because I don't think animal cruelty is a good thing.
I don't wear Nike's because I very much dislike child labour.
I treat those subjects the same, but truth is most people lean towards child labour only, rather than trying to protest against both.

If you wear shoes at all you support child labor, or slave labor. Who do you think makes shoes for pennies? Not grown ass American men.

So unless you walk around bare foot, you are supporting child/slave labor.

Instead of protesting there is a more simple solution, to stop buying nike or any other shoemaker company if they force children to work, if someone treat animals badly before serving them on a plate, then do the same thing, just stop buying them their bloody food.

Well it's definitely a touchy subject. My wife is an animal activist. I am an animal lover. Do I eat meat? Yes. You can choose to buy from places that humanely treat animals and treat them well. Does it cost more? Yes. Do I mind paying more? No. It's not much but we donate to animal shelters, we have been a halfway house for abused animals as well. My wife worked at the SPCA. There are ways to have meat and not condone the torture. Do I eat at McDonald's? No. Will I tell you not to? No. It's your prerogative.

Meh, I eat meat because it tastes good. If it didn't taste good then I wouldn't eat it, which is why I don't eat seafood.
It's still meat if it's from a fish, I don't care what people say.

I had a guy call me a hipocrite for eating meat despite being a self proclaimed animal lover, but the way I figure it humans in general are supposed to be hunter gatherers. Way back when humans were just learning to use tools, we would eat whatever food we could get hold of, mostly fruit and nuts I'd say, and meat would be a rare treat for us, does it mean we should stick to that way of thinking? Not in my opinion, things have moved on and we all have the right to choose.
