Can't tell if your complaint "SO progressive" is because you don't like social progress, or because you are trying to make a point that every show these days are unnecessarily adding progressive things for the sake of appealing to the audience/contributing little to the premise of the show.

If DerVVulfman wants to be ancient, he could translate his name into the Proto-Indo-European language to come out as "wiHrós-wĺ̥kʷos" (lit. Man-Wolf), or its descendant Proto-Germanic "Werazwulfaz".
You might wonder how the heck "wiHrós" become "weraz" and how "wĺ̥kʷos" becomes "wulfaz"

Who are you directing that towards? I copy every post for the gazette as they come and no one used 'SO progressive' this past week in any of the posts? In fact, the last occurrence of the word 'progressive' was in the thread closed last month.
Try Latin. The whole Lycan-thingus.

I was saying that to Green Raven, because look towards the bottom of the picture he posted about the Simpsons.
Even if I tried latin, it's still valid because: wĺ̥kʷos → *lúkʷos → Greek *lýkos
So, wĺ̥kʷos-n̥dʰreh₃kʷó

I mainly posted that for the top part of the image. I don't really like how the characters developed over the years.
Classic Homer wasn't bright but he had a good heart. Homer Now is mentally retarded and constantly angry for no reason. And that's the tip of the iceberg.
And if you look on the left side Classic Simpsons had original heartwarming stories (especially the "do it for her" episode). Simpsons Now heavily rely on cameos and hot button topics to keep people interested.

yeah once Family Guy premiered, The Simpsons really changed to reflect how Seth MacFarlane was about to change television. He was a staff writer for a long time on a lot of Cartoon Cartoon shows, as well as the What A Cartoon Show. South Park really brought cartoons that swear into the cable mainstream, but Family Guy made cartoons that swear funny and accessible enough for the rest of us.

Earlier this year I decided to start focusing on my health. I used to have pecs in high school, but they got kinda saggy and turned into what I call "mashed potato tits". That was NOT a sexy look, so I began working my ass off in attempt to look like I did when I was 17. Recently I hired a drill sergeant personal trainer and am currently making really good progress. Give me a couple months and I'll look better than Daniel Craig...
Who knows, maybe I'll have a shot being the next blonde James Bond? It could happen...
I'm probably going to take the rest of the year off from game development projects, as they're slowly killing me and it's getting harder and harder to stay focused and seated. I've got an unbelievable amount of work done, spanning back to 2005, so I'll definitely be returning to finish what I've started. The past ten years have been rough though, it's a lifestyle I can no longer keep up with, coming home and game-making is like coming home to work a demanding office job after spending all day on your feet. That's not to say it isn't fun, it has been great, but it's grueling work and I'm fatigued as hell from it.
There is still a bunch to be done though, between Echoside and ReGaL. The former WILL be finished some day, I've worked on it too long and it'd be a sin not to finish it. The latter, well... nobody ASKS for burn out, it just happens, despite the best of intentions. I really do hope VVulfy and Netz can continue the project without me, or at least wait until 2016 when I plan on returning in full force, but I currently don't have the time or the mindset to be of any use and I'm really sorry it is currently this way.
I <3 you guys though, you're all like an extended family to me! I'll try to at least stop by IRC at least once a week, but it'll be awhile before I'm regularly around like I have been over the years. Don't think of it as me going away, I'm just taking an extended hiatus to enjoy the real world, then I'll be coming back to work like I used to :)

The words "ignorance is bliss" comes to mind when watching HBO's VICE documentaries that airs after Bill Maher.
Today's episode involves dealing with a post-antibiotic world and Malaysia's destructive palm oil business. VICE doesn't fail to depress me :(
