 Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V
#1
Starting a thread to share some of the sprites I created over the years. Some are older sprites that used to be on Creation Asylum, while others are more recent.

Most of these are for modern tilesets, though some (particularly monsters) can slot into most games.

Feel free to add/remove details and change the colors to suit what you need, though if you intend to use these sprites (even with edits), I'd appreciate it if you credit them to me (Ace_V) Blushing + Cheery

You may use these in your creative works. NOT to train AI.

I hope they're useful!

OK, first up are two bits of vehicles. The first one is a tricycle / tuk-tuk / auto-rickshaw (I already posted it several days ago, but I'm adding it here to consolidate the resources) Second one is a jeepney, both commonly used in Asia.

I'll post more sprites for RMXP later!

EDIT: 2026-08-13

It's come to my attention that some people in the community are now using the excuse of "free assets" as a "license" to train AI on those free assets.

While I have tried not to include legalese in this thread, I feel I need to add some notes.

I do not consent to my work being used to train AI.
I do not grant you license to copy my work for that use.

Yes, I am offering anything in this thread for you to use in your project for free, without monetary compensation.
No, it does not transfer copyright to you.

"Free" does not mean you "own" my work. You simply have a license to use a copy of it in your creative work.

"Free" also does not mean you are able to repackage MY work. This includes its use in AI training repositories.

By its very definition, I have sole copyright of my work. Sole right to make copies. Copy. Right.
Yes, I choose to offer you a copy for use in your creative work for free.
Again, no, it does not transfer copyright to you.  Legally, AI is not a creative work. By that legal definition you are not allowed to use my copyrighted work to train AI.

For those looking for free assets to train their AI on, this thread is not for you. Go elsewhere.

Next up are a pair of drinking fountains, one with an aluminum and another with a faux wood housing. Blushing + Cheery

The animation requires some event scripting to include all the frames, but it is worth the effort. I included a screenshot of how I handled it (though it could use a bit more tweaking)

(Please include my username Ace_V in the credits if you intend to use these)

Here are three more sprites that I made way back in 2005 (how time flies!):

- A phonograph
- An antique, cathedral-style wooden radio with dial tuning animation
- An antique, cathedral-style wooden radio with music/sound animation

Been a bit busy with end-of-year obligations, so I'm unable to upload much. For now, here's an animated water dispenser in made in 2024. Blushing + Cheery

I'm back with something a little different.

I needed a football field for a project, and I'm sharing a part of that tileset along with the accompanying football sprite (scaled in height to match the standard RMXP NPC)

While I made almost all of the art, I must credit CounterClockWise for the original gym bag design, which I've altered.

I made a mall for my game, and every mall needs security. So, here is my completely 100% original idea /s for an NPC, whom I have named Paul Bloke, Mall Cop. Laughing
