As you stated, this is the Hillary thread. But as you had something to say about Ted Cruz, so do I.
Lyin' Ted ( ) wished to spout that he, a Canadian Borne US Citizen, was able to run for President... an office that can only be held by either a 'Natural Borne Citizen' or a Citizen borne before the ratification of the Constitution. Obviously, he is not the latter. He professed he could run due to a constitutional law passed 200 years ago.
He is correct, but also in error (or a lie of omission?). The 1790 Naturalization act stated that children of U.S. citizens borne outside of the U.S. are automatically 'Natural Borne Citizens'. Fine, right? Well, the 1795 Naturalization act (only 5 years later) stated that the children of U.S. citizens borne outside of the U.S. are considered U.S. Citizens. At the same time, it actively states that it replaces the 1790 act which is then null and void. Lyin' Ted doesn't want to remember that one. He is a Citizen, but not a Natural Borne Citizen as required.
Now back to Hillarity. Does anyone believe that she supports the coal industry of West Virginia as she tried to convince people a couple days ago? West Virginia has the 2nd highest unemployment rate in the U.S., and its major industry was coal. Now many of them are filing for bankruptcy due to legislation that she had until now been praising. At the same time, coal accounts for roughly a third of the nation's energy suppliers so we're due for high unemployment and high energy utility costs.

Certainly not the smartest thing.
