Have you considered a Virtual Machine for your system? I've used VMWare. After installing it, I uploaded a copy of Windows XP into its environment. That way, my PC had both the current version of Windows and ye classic WinXP at the same time. VMWare is free, but you WOULD have to buy an full install disc for Win XP.
I will admit, transferring files between the virtual environment and the main system was a pain. But you may want to consider that option if you really like that program. I have a few graphic favs of my own that ran from Windows 3.1 straight through to XP.
