I have to ... relay this.
As some of you know, I'm 52 years old. What many don't know is that my father is 92 and has been suffering from Dementia, mild at first but now fairly advanced. It's hard to handle, getting him to eat while he has the attitude of someone roughly four and not wanting anything. Not able to get him to sleep when its night time, and constant moaning which is apparently common.
This morning, he tore a pillow apart because he wanted to wear it as pants. He found shoe laces to tie is legs together. And he hoards opened 'Hershe'ys Milkshakes' so he can drink them days later... when they're bad.
That's what's always on my mind.
