Hm. Well, I did a little look at the Wiki link MetalRenard posted about tensions in Iran. I wasn't aware of the 1949 Assassination attempt which prompted the Shah's addition of security which certain individuals didn't like. I don't think many did, and I had to scrounge to get anything about it other than it being a reporter. It turns out that the Ayatollahs were already attempting to destable Iran and were going for power even then! The would-be assassin was Nasser Fakhrara'ei who worked for a newspaper owned by the son-in-law of Ayatollah Kashani. Yep, the Ayatollahs were like that even then, the original destabilizing force, and 4 years before the 1953 Coup previously mentioned.

I don't know how many watched the hearings yesterday, but in less than two hours the House case was criticized for not showing exculpatory evidence, improper procedures that the Supreme court already discussed years before, fabrications. Hell, Schiff kept talking about a White House meeting? Zelensky himself changed the meet to the one in Warsaw on September 1st and they knew it.
