A new poll released just before found that a growing number of Russians do not believe that Putin's military operation in Ukraine is working. And with that, more than half of those polled were either angered or distressed.
The city of Lyman was a key road crossing the Siversky Donets River and a key supply hum that the Kremlin used to push troops and weaponry into Ukraine. But the loss of Lyman, annexed by Russia months before was taken quickly and a major setback for Putin. Ukraine's military not only revealed Russian weakness but displayed Ukraine's skill and acumen.
