The current state of RPG Maker is truly pitiful.
Yeah it's kind of a dead give away every time, they can't fool the older more experienced users anymore so they are changing their demographic to children is what I'm seeing here.
Not to say only kids use the switch, but its only young people or morons who would conceivably try to use a console-restricted engine to make a game.
No custom music
No custom art
No coding
May as well play Little Big Planet.
Still, every time they pull something like this, I get a kick out of watching them fail. The Unite shit-show being a recent highlight.
But enough negativity, Remi! I can't even downvote the post on this forum, its not FAIR!!!
Well lucky for all of you, i have far more productive things in store than me just bitching and being chaotic lawless.
3/14 is fast approaching, and like with every march 14th, I tend to go ham on trying to make it a day of celebration, as it is the day in which 13 years ago now, i released Intelligence in its very first build, but even more than that-- it is the day when the Crazy Chimp Collective was formed from a braintrust of like-minded equals- equals who have helped me make all the crazy games I have.
no Fantasia build this year, Pjcr and Xiie are still trying to get their lives sorted after all the Covid nonsense and while there's potential they could be back into the main game any day now, I can't rely on that for the Fantasia game, as there is just too many unfactored variables.
Though it is not to worry, for I finally buckled down and worked some more on Junked as you may have seen. It's second Demo will release on 3/14, the 11th Anniversary of the CCC. i will also be going back to making the epic six minute presentation videos. I have a lot to be proud of this year, during its span i released the first public demo of FLIGHT, Got a second Demo ready for JUNKED, did loads of really nice art- some of which ended up in an art exhibition all my own.
Began a series of videos aptly named the Starchaser Series and more properly defined both my brand and reminded everyone of why I am here.
Took my first real delve into singing, moved to a house which has been an amazing stay- there is so very much that has happened in such a relatively small span of time!
Hit 2,000 followers on twitter and that number doesn't stop increasing. Almost at 250 subs on youtube, that one has been difficult!
But for this thread today, you already can see what is coming in regards to Junked, so instead i will share some of the new updated portraits for Fantasia!
Anathema
They are all done. Only showing some here.
Senshi
This is Senshi, all things considered a fairly minor character. But she does show up in an optional event cinematic so I put her portrait on priority. She's a blood-elemented Nekomata. All her and Anathema's art is credit to Pjcr, the portrait artist of Fantasia.
Optional Scene 03 - Extinction's End
This is the cinematic she has a small role in. She's a friend of Anathema, and this cinematic was to highlight the friendships and familial bonds forged after a nine-part two-branch optional event chain. The entire ordeal of which is to find a means to repopulate the Nekomata who had been reduced to a population of only females, making the conventional means impossible.
And just because I can't get enough of Misha's voice acting for Anathema, here's the Bloodletter at her peak.
