New Bug Fix Available!
This might not affect many people unless you extremely love playing MIDI, but now the fluidsynth library can properly read the chorus and reverb features again.
It just happens that fluidsynth developers decided to break backwards compatibility ever since version 2.0 was released. How? By forcing other developers to change the corresponding function from fluid_settings_setstr that admits a yes or no string as its third parameter to fluid_settings_setint that expects an integer as its last argument.
This change had taken place around 3 years ago! 
In regard to Windows...I finally managed to grab an old copy of the Windows port of the HiddenChest engine. The problem is that can't find references to some of the Boost library modules or some specific functions of OpenAL for the time being.
