Coming back to RPGMaking after 20 years

I had given up on an old project from 2004 because my old game exe stopped working when I made the switch to Windows 7, and the same went for Windows 10, so I just kept the game stored away.

Then, one day on a whim I thought of looking up RMXP, and was surprised to see it working on Steam. So I bought a new license, and was elated when it ran on Win10. So happy at the nostalgia! I'm going to try and finish this little game up and surprise some friends that had forgotten about it as well.

With a few 'hiccups' such as no Win32API support, Kyonides has his "Hidden Chest" executable project... an open-source replacement for Game.Exe that is 64-bit.

Still need to use the game editor, but the Exe works relatively fine for XP, VX and Ace.
