It was a list of games that were not within the RMC's Completed Games board, but were part of the Completed Games board from the site's earlier incarnation as RPGMakerVxAce.Net.
This new list of games from the now-lost RPG Maker indie development site is long, roughly 20% larger than RMC's game collection. And I have been going through it at warp speed, having examined fifty out of the roughly one-hundred titles. Of these I examined, twenty do have salvageable games. So by that, I expect to save 40% of the games now presented to me.
Dear friends,
The time for the massive endeavor of archiving the RPG Maker Central Complete Games board is coming.
Today, I went through and examined the viable download links to over 100 games posted prior to the board's rebranding in 2017. And of those, over 50% of the content is able to be restored. In fact, I had already begun and restored over a dozen lost threads!
Actual murder mysteries, puzzle-system fan games, and even a Star Wars parody game with its title based on "Dude! Where's My Car?". And who can't enjoy a bit of mayhem playing as a little infant with a big honkin' sword going medieval on dungeon monsters?
I am taking a break from recreating any more tonight. But I have just over 40 left, and then it will be DONE!
