Eventually I reformated my entire PC which fixed the issue and some others, but I've only done some basic testing and fixes for Disk 0 scenes.

And if I may add, Remi can now use her copy of the glorious wonder known as RPGMaker VX, a game engine she had naught been able to employ for years. 

Look man, people have asked to see my old and bad games! The many cry out to see my silly shit, and now at last, i can answer their pleas!

I admitted it sucks in one of my videos about my development journey, lmao.
