The piece of Xaela above had me at its complete mercy, so I decided to draw it first.
Here be me cooking again! There's definitely some things I could have done better in this image, most notably her legs and how the foreshortening doesn't really apply for them as well as everywhere else. I do for the most part love how this piece came out though. The killer expression especially so. Also really happy with the background and how despite so much going on, it doesn't feel disorienting as the focus is still largely put on the foreground character.
This piece took me about 15 hours in total, and got more ambitious than I initially imagined when I drew the sketch.
Those 15 hours is up and ready for you to view in the form of an epic 22 minute timelapse. This is the ENTIRE process, including the baseline sketch. From nothing to everything!
