An interesting insight to the plot.

I remember you mentioning working on a foreshortened tail in another post, it was worth the time spent, executed very superblyThe tail and it's foreshortening was frankly the easiest part, The pose and perspective regarding it turned out to be much trickier.
But I did it because I knew it would be a challenge, and I like to challenge myself as a creative whensoever possible, which brings me to the piece of today!
I was gonna save it for next week, but since I've already got plans for a piece running through my head, I figure I'll stop being coy and post it now.

Once the time comes when I can bear my talons upon you with the intent to kill, I will have a hard time deciding… which of the ten thousand ways I should do it!?

No speed draw for this one, as I didn't feel like recording it- and just as well since it took two very long sessions over a couple days. Probably at least 16 hours spent on this one. Given the level of detail and sheer resolution (5000x6000) it's not so insane to have spent as long as I did. Had a lot of difficulties with her left knee/shin and the foreshortening necessary for it, but after much deliberation, helpful feedback and advice from our dear forum member Siletrea and some epic jams to vibe and study to, I succeeded.
You might notice this has some thicker lines than my typical work. I was doing a rough draft initially but it was coming along so well that I decided I'd keep the linework and fix the weighting and errors, leading to one of my more unique looking pieces, more reminiscient of its era.
But it was a complete accident!
