Tyrant of Babylon

During the strife-laden times of Eld, seven individuals were chosen by the Architects to punish mortals for their sins if redemption was no longer possible, these became the Seven Archdemons of Deadly Sin. While the war 'twixt mortal and God waged on, a new Sin was discovered among the chaos. The Deadly Sin of Entitlement and its hard counter, the Heavenly Virtue of Gratitude. To compliment the seven, a final Lord of Sin was not chosen, but created from Yi's own ability, the Demon Queen Astaroth was the youngest of the Archdemons of Deadly Sin, but easily the most savage.
She founded and saw erected the mighty city of Babylon, a capital of sin where the alluring opportunity for fame, fortune and pleasures would lure mortalkind into the city's spires and into their silent graves.
As Eden's condition grew worse and desperate measures seemed prudent, Astaroth tired of playing the long game, she lured all the mortals she could to the city and used a massive energy drain technique, both empowering her and reducing mortalkind's number largely in half.
Even after Eden's fall, the Great Duchess of Hell survived, and has since joined the Children of Calamity. Having seen the Twins losing touch with their ability to control reality, and with an insatiable appetite for souls as a welcome reason to indulge in her most dangerous ideas.
Few know her name, only flickers of her legacy are whispered in fearful tones by Demons of Heldath, referring to her typically as the great Duchess or Demon Lord, the latter a rank that was not bestowed but earned, as it is her power and cruelty that gives the title its gravity.
12 hours of work, and it kinda shows! Had a lot of fun constructing that background and giving it the unclear but ominous lighting. Here is Astaroth walking down the red carpet as many mortal victims surrender their souls consensually or not.

This drawing is quite a milestone, it's the first time I've drawn Astaroth in a very long time, in fact it was last time I drew Astaroth that was my 100th speed draw, and now with this, that has become 200!
