Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

More news came out about Nintendo's lawsuit against Palworld which may ruin Nintendo's chances. By that, Palworld has a list of products that use the various game mechanics which Nintendo had only just recently attempted to patent. And with that, it suggests that Nintendo's patents will be re-examined and possibly considered void. Such games include Ark, Tomb Raider, Craftopia, Titantall, Final Fantasy 14, and many more.

The News of the World involved peace talks between the nations of India and Pakistan, and the apparent ceasefire by the Houthis on ships in the Red Sea. Meanwhile, trade agreements were reached between the US and the UK and between the US and China. There is that, and politicians caught on bodycam arrested after skirting security within a prison.

If you were wondering What's up with the RMers in the forum, DerVVulfman is continuing his work on spriting weapons for his Half Kaiser Battler resources, finishing his work on rifles and now about to begin work on shortbow animations. Steel Beast 6Beets was curious if there were more animations available per weapon, which DerVVulfman acknowledged. Meanwhile, there was a discussion about the early days of the RPGMaker engine's appearance and the translations that popped up before RPGMaker XP's official edition arrival outside of Japan.

Upcoming Projects

Starmage came by and applied a new patch to Heroes of the Seasons, one that increases the strength of mercs encounered and magic applied. Likewise, the names of the gameplay stages have been updated to more clearly distinguish game progress with game difficulty.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine

Last week, DerVVulfman released Adeyemi's Armor Proficiency, but recently discoveed it had a bug within the code. The bug was one that involved the variables passed inot the Item Effect system. But once noticed, the bug was quickly repaired.

Many an RPG games are within fantasy settings of the medieval age. And within those, many a town may have a local blacksmith. So if you wish to have a forge, the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V had converted one of the RPGMaker XP characters into one with a separate forge spritesheet and an event script to create the illusion.
