As of today, I am 1/3rd the way with downloading the pertinent thread pages to RPGMaker VXAce scripts from RPGMakerWebs, and VXAce is the last of the actual software to safeguard. I'm taking a bit more tome on that to avoid burnout, but should be done with them by next week.

After that, it is a toss-up between game content or resources, with resources being in the lead.

Thank you for your efforts!  Blushing + Cheery

Data hoarding like this is the way to preserve the good stuff on the internet.
(And it saves us from headaches when looking up ancient scripts!)

I'll take care to make an offline backup for posterity.

Its Saturday, and I am not more than halfway through the RPGMaker VXAce post archiving from Webs. Given I do other Forum stuff on Sunday, archiving will resume Monday and the VXAce script post downloading should be finished before next week.

Monday! Monday Monday!!!!

Today, twenty more Index Pages from the VXAce scripts board from RPGMaker Webs has been scoured, downloading the 1st/initial page of each. Sadly, its at an era where two posters have no content to speak, one removed over a rumored scandal while the other performed re-directs to Ad.Fly... and both Ad.Fly and the poster's content has been gone for over a decade.

TACO TUESDAY!

I had tacos.

I also tore through all the remaining RPGMaker VXAce pages up to index page 88, and downloaded the last main VXACE script page from RPGMaker WEBS!!!

Some content was not salvageable due to dl.download links, and one file required a custom .dll. I still downloaded that page as I will try and put word out for it. But I'm not holding my breath or anything.

The next endeavor... RESOURCES.

Yep, the middle of the week, and a new section of RPGMakerWebs is being archived, the RPG Maker Specific resources.  And I already have two zip files ready right here

Save-Point › Material Development › Resources Database

Indeed, the smallest subforums, RPGMaker 2003's and RPGMaker XP's, have had their pages downloaded, zipped up and saved online.  You have some MACK sets, the Inquisitor WorldSets, and more.
