Just want to let everyone know that there won't be an update to Samven's Writing Lectures this week. I'm focusing on IndieSam Exposure and jobhunting, so it probably isn't going to be updated until next week. On the plus side, that gives me more time to get into the guts of villains. 83

I just got an eMail that was 'supposedly' from PayPal, though the eMail address seemed fishy. Better make that pfishy. It stated that PayPal needed clients to update their profiles and recommended the receiver to 'click here' to get it running.
Doublechecking with PayPal's security terms, they always user your name in their eMails, so this message saying 'Dear Valued Customer' ... obvious fakery. If it was sent to you, it would use your name or your business name. Never some fill-in-the-blank nonsense.
So DO NOT CLICK on it. That's what's on my mind.

Those things get sent straight to my spam folder. I've even had some from BANKS, well, not real banks but phishing scams! But yeah anything with fill in the blanks should NOT be trusted.
On my mind:
After a huge crash and burn, I used a backup from a few months ago to fix my website. I am happy to say that it is FINALLY OFFICIALLY OPEN!!! We mainly have MUGEN stuff, but I plan to add more stuff to the other categories as well (RPG Maker and OpenBOR). Thanks to Dervvulfman and Charlie fleed (fellow Save Point members) for helping me get some pre-opening material for the site!
I just signed up to Netflix and I'm really enjoying it. I watched a film this evening, one of those ones that plays with your mind. It's called "The Lazarus Project".
The main character is convicted of murder and sentenced to death (though he was only indirectly responsible for the murder, some how he gets the full responsibility, bloody Texas FTL). He wakes up in this other world and discovers he's been given a 2nd chance at life, but he's not allowed to return to his family.
The rest of the film explores all kinds of psychological things that I won't discuss so as not to spoil it for anyone, but it really is a great film. Anyone who likes a good psychological thriller will love this.
Happy almost thanksgivng to everyone in the US :) I made the most amazing looking pie... cross my fingers it doesn't taste like dog food....
