What's on your mind?
Dizzy I am exhausted but really happy and excited! Completed a substantial solar panel installation in our house and the system was finally turned on today!  Very cheery I've been hoping for something like this since the pandemic, and now it's a reality. It was actually good that we waited since the tech has become more efficient. Our system has a robust production capacity (a shade--heh--over twice the upper average consumption of the household). Due to the newer, more efficient panels, the construction firm tells me it'll only need two to three hours of full sunlight to generate enough power for our household's consumption, then the rest go to the battery or back into the grid.  Starry-Eyed

Overcast or rainy weather will obviously mean less power, but this is still a big step towards energy independence and I'm so amped (heh) and charged up (double heh) and excited to see how the system performs in the years to come.  Laughing
