Stuff you love but no one else seems to

Hm. - The 3DS version and the Wii U version of the game are not compatible, are they?
Granted I've not actually played the game since I got it and it's been quite a while since I played Smash Bros. Brawl...XD'

Everyone seems to hate Ike but he's my favourite character to play as in Smash Bros. Why all the hate? He hits like a mofo and is the fastest "heavy" character. Sure, he's easy to kill once he's in the air but you have to get near him first!
TASTE MY SWORD!

Wasnt it because he replaced a more popular character from the same game?

Ike replaced Roy, yes, but Ike's even more badass. He's a bit heavier and slower than Roy was but he makes up for it in brute force.
FYI, Roy was my favourite character back then too so I adapted easily to Ike.

Lucina on the other hand is a waste of a character - a reskinned Marth.

midwest winters. love em. can't see why everyone else hates on them. they're perfectly survivable if you: 1)concede that hoodies aren't coats, 2)don't drive like you've never driven a car before, 3)snowblowers. I'm learning that i'm definitely a cold weather creature.

Legend of Legaia.  Blushing + Cheery

SOOOOOOOOOOO many people call it a wannabe fighting game with a bad battle system, bad graphics, etc.

It's actually unfortunate to see all of the hate for the unique battle styling of the game.

The game is one of my all-time favorites, but when I bring it up, the game gets bashed on by many, and lots just haven't heard about it, or heard negative things so they didn't play it.
It's worth your time to play if you haven't already.  Confused

I have long ago conceded that it doesn't matter whether someone else judges the game as good or shit as long as it pleases me.
Other people's judgements can really ruin your enjoyment of the work.

So, I don't love Nickelback but I don't see what's so face-meltingly awful about them. Many people seem to think that they're worse than forty Hitlers but, at the end of the day, I just find them an okayish band with one or two decent songs. They're not that bad, guys.

Another thing I really love that I find it curious not many others do is the script for Final Fantasy XII. Guys, this was everything the franchise should have been building towards. It was darker, it was more realistic and mature, and it had a great and fascinating female protagonist in Ashe (although it's a shame that we had to have her story filtered through Vaan's eyes and not have her lead it on her own). Sure, the gameplay has its wonky moments but I felt the story had the most interesting and beautifully-written script of any game in the whole franchise and the faux-Shakespearean tone really does help to sell the dramatic moments. Every line that comes out of Dr. Cid's mouth is solid gold.

I love the retro style graphics like in 2k. Not chibi or anime style, but just that old SNES feel. I hate the 2k3 engine though, so i've been working on porting a lot of those graphics for MV. The autotiles are the hard part.

When I was 8 years old, my uncle took me to see the Cleveland Browns. I've been an enormous fan ever since. They're really crappy right now. In fact they have been since they were renewed into the NFL in 1999. But I am a die-hard fan and purchase dang near everything I can afford that I run across with Browns logos and such on them.

Unfortunately, most folks don't like them and make fun of me when I announce my undying affection for them. So yeah...The Cleveland Browns.

the 1st videogame I ever played in my entire life is called "Chrono Cross"
I played it 1st when I was 6

to this day everyone disses it like crazy JUST because its a "spiritual sequel" instead of a DIRECT SEQUEL to Chrono Trigger

yet everyone loves the music

I still play it! I played it 3 hours ago TBH and its still asthetically stunning and graphically acceptable to this day
its a underrated gem of a game that deserves to be played and I hate that noone gives it a fighting chance
