Good news~! I'm not dead! :3

Okay. It's been... longer than a while, and I have put off a lot of things lately. o.o Anyway, Here's a little teeny tiny update.

I'm currently experimenting with Variables to make regional currencies. :3

Somehow I have this idea in my head where you go into a region, only to discover your currency, that you've been using, is not valid in the new region. O.o But when you return to the region you were in, you can use that currency you've had collected with your blood, sweat, and tears! Haha! The currency I decided to stick with is GP, for some reason, instead of just Gold.

I'm experimenting with it for now, and only two regions are gonna be available for now.

That's pretty much it for now. O.o Holy shoot. It's 2024 about to be 2025... O.o I might just go with the default battle system at this rate just to get this game finished.

Hello~! I'm still not dead! But I found something and wanted to show it off! Okay, so RMN (rpgmaker.net) had an archive of the project, and I downloaded it via, torrent. That means I have all the builds the project had, kinda. But here's something, I came across an old build, which I used a program to decrypt the encrypted files, and made a new project to look at it. And....

I'm also up late, but will be sleeping after posting this, as I gotta focus on livestreaming on Twitch later. Though unrelated. (Hence, the time on the Taskbar.)

But yeah. I found a build that had this script that was made for me back then. Holy cow. O.o This was back in this project's infancy, and I can't find the actual RRR post via, the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. So here's a rundown what this did. I was able to create Journal Entries, like a text box, somewhat.



Here's the script in action, partly. The screenshot, which I took before editing this image above, is an older build, which I have moved on from, but glad I found it. So yeah. O.o Holy cow. This is old, but I think it still works. I'm gonna try and add it to the current build I'm developing, and see if nothing conflicts it. It's been YEARS since I last seen this script. I'm glad I kinda remembered it. As for the Party Window, unless there's a way to make it scroll-able, I have no idea if I can keep a 4th party member in after this script gets added. But hey! I found it! That's something. :3 I'm obviously not the creator of this script, but I will credit the creator of the script. They deserve it. O.o I'm just happy I somehow found the thing. I'm definitely keeping it. Also... I used "Shards" as a currency? I'm glad I changed THAT. 

Okay. Also... Just a heads up, I'm gonna be silently developing this along with some other unrelated things, as my ISP is gonna pull the plug on my internet connection this Thursday, because their service is discontinuing where I live, so I'm gonna have to ISP hunt. Okay. That's it. Later for now. :3 I'm gonna sleep and do... whatever during the day. TTFN~!
