Stan Lee will always be remembered and beloved. He was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame the year after. And in 2008, he received the National Medal of Arts. But more than that, he founded the Stan Lee Foundation in 2010, its main focus being literacy, education, diversity, culture and the arts.
Many know Stan "The Man" Lee as the American comic-book writer who created many iconic characters such as Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk, as well as having been the editor-in-chief, publisher and chairman of Marvel Comics. And of course, he was known for his memorable comic cameos in the recent Marvel Cinematic Universe feature films.
But today, Stanley Martin Lieber (borne December 28, 1922) had passed away today at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angelas.
