It's called Final Fantasy VERSUS 14, but also just called Final Fantasy 14 Online.

all I can see is Final Fantasy versus XIII, what means Final Fantasy versus 13. Final Fantasy XIV means Final Fantasy 14 and is a online game...

You don't wanna tell me that this is the same game... and besides; I know it's not...
There is also a third Final Fantasy XIII. This is for PSP and called Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

My bad i misread the title, either way, FF VERSUS for ps3 will be coming out sometime in the summer or just after in spring.

I just got the game a few days ago and I think it's great. After I got it I was reluctant to play it due to the reviews I've read, but once I loaded it up and defeated the first boss I knew it was a good game, despite the linearity and lack of certain elements that was to come. Great graphics, which I'm usually not an advocate of (gameplay > graphics IMO), and a great soundtrack, plus one of the best battle systems of the series makes it a must-have for any fans of Final Fantasy. The story so far I enjoy as well, though I'm not too fond of traveling 30 yards to watch another flashback. All in all, it's a great game, and I hope I don't finish it too soon :P

Disregard the bad reviews, as the linearity serves the plot (a lot like FFX). No shops? Big deal. I can't remember when shops were important other than stocking up on healing items anyway, which is still the only use for them in FFXIII. Anyone skeptical about buying it, just go ahead and buy it :D

Well and it may not have shops in the same style as the others, but every save system has shops right there.

I think it is a good game. Most people bash on the linearity and the battle system (which they never really play long enough to see the depth it has later on in the game). Battle system definitely makes up for the linearity.. pretty intense battles.

People have bashed on the soundtrack quite a bit as well. Personally I like it quite a bit though there aren't many "memorable" tunes. Instead you see a lot of fusion-genres and pretty interesting composition from elements of so many genres.
