I'm playing Suikoden V. This was long overdue, like by ten years. I remember playing Legion Saga III as one of my first RPG Maker games, the masterpiece that got me interested in RPGs and making, and as you know it is a clon... ahem, largely influenced by the Suikoden series.
The depth and scope of Suikoden V's gameplay are simply unparalleled and it is giving me a lot of ideas for Hartacon Tactics. There's even a component of tactic combat, with its formation system, not to mention grand battles.
The only thing that is missing is maybe some very large scale strategy, something that would encompass planning what city and regions to get control of, with a result on the main story, but I'll take care of it. ;)

May speed and glory be yours!
I'm so glad I've finished my course. I just feel so much more relaxed, I didn't realise I'd been so tense for a year and a half until this weekend. Now, with short-term work available and a long term career ahead of me when I choose to grasp it, I can say it was worth it but... I'm just so relieved to be out the other end. Anyone considering teaching in the UK may wish to reconsider, it's one the most judgemental jobs in the country and the path to get there is one of the toughest there is.
And now I can return to music... It's so nice to be home again.

Welcome home =D

As far as James Bond, I finally saw all of the Sean Connery films (again), now I'm on the 4th Roger Moore film! More plot details on my fan project has come about, even started early work on some comic panels. It's early drafting, a sort of throw away practice version just so I can get used to it, nothing artsy or fancy (yet).
I'm still not sure if this is the medium I'm going to choose to work this out, but I think my art ability heavily outweighs my writing ability. Funny thing is, I've been drawing digitally with pixels for so long, that pencil and paper feel foreign to me now. I'd swear it looks like a twelve year old drew this, badly need practice before I take it more seriously.
