It's time to give more details on Destiny of End!
STORY:
There will be 4 story arcs spanning across 3 of the world's continents.
Each story arc is very long and different from the other, with new goals to be achieved! (And new enemies to beat the crud out of you!)
The story starts off with Tina and Ikuno looking for a woman known only as "She" and her group of fairly inactive anti-Karula rebels.
Their main mission is to break into Karula's castle at the capital city of Bline while his army is out to battle using the rebels' help, and persuade Karula himself to halt the expansion of his influence over Kerai.
When they finally meet "She" in the center of the Elka Desert, they find that she is alone.
What happened, and why...?
While I'm mentioning the story, I may as well include something that is somewhat related...
TRIALS:
(I don't have a name for these Trials yet, so they're just called "Trials" for now)
After defeating certain bosses throughout the game, you may return to the "Trials" entrance and select a dungeon with a more powerful version of that boss.
The new versions are far cries of their original versions' powers! They're no lazy copy-pastes with better stats. They'll have slightly changed sprites, as well as an original battle theme to go along with the Trials!
Even the dead have their day. Don't let your souls be taken by these beasts!
Level recommendations will be included with any Trial before being undertaken, so it'd be best to watch out for those.

Working on attack and skill balancing, which includes the possible addition of a skill leveling system! After all, there's no point to "Power Punch" if it suddenly becomes a weak attack as you get stronger!
Also working on the first continental map. I should be able to have the map ready to post by next week.

Time for few quick announcements!
I've got some cool animations ahead, and I made a slight change to the previous one.
I'll be releasing the animations in bulk, so expect them in about a week.
The Kerai Continental Map is about halfway fixed up, so I might have that in a little while as well.
I fixed a glitch in my game that had made the "Weakened" state never happen. (Or rather, when someone had under 25 HP, which... doesn't happen often.)
It was a simple fix that was changed after a bit of random questions with the magical and wonderful DerVVulfman.
I have also added in another script-- DerVVulfman's Enemy Melee Status Attacks script! Some enemies will be able to do status effects with regular attacks without needing a skill! Yay!
(Don't worry, I'm not gonna go overboard like Final Fantasy II! *Shiver*)
Finally, I decided it would be a fun task to...
CHIBIFY THE GAME'S CHARACTERS!
My options were slightly limited, but I think they kinda look like their game versions.
I put them in street clothes with similar color schemes to their sprites.
(I also had to do some edits to get better colors for some things as well!)
I imagine them all hanging out as great friends on a slightly chilly day. Feel free to imagine what you will

I'll have a few animations to show you guys in a few days. I've been trying to catch up on rest, so work has been a little slower... However, I have been working on making some of my boss battles a bit more challenging, as well as sprite editing.
I just finished making one annoying bossfight, one that I couldn't even beat on my first try, and I knew its weaknesses beforehand.
Just felt like giving a quick bump to my game's thread, just because.

Forgot to mention, I made a Chibi King Karula! Hehe~ <3
There is a reason he usually covers his left eye with his hair, ya know...
And yeah, he's got a thing for blue. Killed his swordsmith because the hilt wasn't blue, but he uses the sword anyway.

As promised, the animations!
All names except Phoenix Flame are preliminary names, and will most likely be changed in due time.
The skill entitled Animation Test 2 is a 3-level skill that gets better accuracy as it levels up. The level 3 version of the animation hits directly on the target. I'm using the level 1 version in this video-- hence why it looks like it's mostly missing the enemy.
I'm working on getting better sound effects for the skills as well. The ones that are on now are temporary, so if they're out-of-sync or sound weird, that's why.
I know I didn't show Fire Barrier, but it's almost the same as Ice Barrier.
I'll make gifs of the animations when I have time.
Now, for some information on bosses and Requests!
Many bosses will have something about them that will be different than others.
One boss, when it hits 50% HP, may double its attack power!
Another may have super high defense, and will require magics to take down!
Requests have a lot more of these specialties, and they can get pretty rough to fight at times. It's not all difficult, though, in case you were worried! Some get weaker as their HP gets lower!
....Some.
Finally, a quick update on Superarts!
I'm going to be changing the name of "Superarts" to something else that I'll reveal when I do it. I've implemented 3 characters' Superarts now, and I'm working on the power of said skills. One of them did 1,000 damage to an enemy with very high defense, which scared me a bit
I've also started messing with some game fonts and text sizes, and I'm trying to find a nice balance for things. It's been rough, but I'm getting it done
I'm gonna avoid making any more deadlines from now on, I'll release more info when I have more to release

AHHH YES! And before I forget... I'm almost finished with the first continental map. I'm taking my time with it, and I have no idea when it'll be 100% finished.

Well, it looks promising they it is right now. Perhaps you could showcase a town or a shop or one of the heroes' home, I dunno, while you're working on the first continental map.

I'm going to be working on some custom tilesets for shops, so that's a no-go.
I can show a hero's home, though!
(Still a WIP though)
EDIT: Deleted the pics, they're really bad. I forgot my game's file corrupted a month or two ago, and I had to start from my backup that was a few days of work behind. That includes Tina's house, which looked a LOT nicer. The rooms were actual rooms. And windows with light shining through.
I'll get things out when they're ready, so please be patient. I might work on her house soon so I can show it properly.
I haven't had much time to work on anything lately anyway, so rushing will do no good.
Thanks for your curiosity though, that makes me happy

I've been working quite a bit on things for the game, and I actually scrapped my old Kerai Continental map in favor of starting it anew! The basic shape is the same, but geographical changes are being made. It's much quicker for me to start anew than to edit an older picture.
Since the map will take a few days to be satisfactory enough for me to post, I'll just give these screenshots of some things I'm working on to hold you guys over.
(Please keep in mind, they are all works in progress. Don't be too harsh in judging, I haven't even set most weapon/item names yet, and I'm working on custom icons, changing fonts, etc. There are also things missing from the Tina's House map that I'll be adding in later. I put a lot of time into that one map, and I still plan on changing it around! I'm also working on Little Tina's sprite. She's too tall right now!)

For the menu backgrounds, I have about 4-5 different versions of each menu background. I'm also working on the skill menu, stat menu, etc...
I'm also working on a totally new menu screen that'll look totally awesome, if I can pull it off! I'll be sure to show you all in due time
In the next update, I'll have some character sprite reveals and new skill reveals, among many other things.
