What's on your mind?
Hmmm.... Backing things up, via the cloud is taking a while. I'm not going to have the PC pull all nighters with the Hard Drive's condition. So far, everything's fine.

What happens if you can't get online or lose your iCloud pass? Must be the DIALUP person in me, for I prefer offline backups.

I prefer the same thing, but I'm out of hard drives, so this counts as a sort-of, kind of, backup plan.

In Transformers G1 there's an episode where a young woman inherits a technology corporation where she's not allowed to pay a visit to the development facilities. The girl breaks pretty much any device that could be found in the surrounding area. The decepticons kidnap her and she undergoes a mind scan but the machine breaks down, they try to hold the cables while it's transmitting data only to get electrocuted. Laughing Then the machine goes nuts and Megatron can't believe it! Laughing + Tongue sticking out That gal would be the envy of the whole saboteur and espionage community!! Laughing

I just found my old Acer Aspire laptop that dates back to a day, or two, after my high school graduation, and it still works, despite its age. I'm gonna give it a different OS other than Ubuntu though. As much as I like Ubuntu, the version the laptop is running is pretty old. Oh. And the screen needs a cleaning too.

After a few Operating Systems, all Linux based, I decided to go with Linux Mint for mainly two reasons.

1. They still distribute 32-bit versions of their OS, which my laptop can handle for its age.
2. The linux I would've used no longer distributes a 32-Bit version of their OS. And I didn't know about it until I installed it onto my Laptop.

Also I installed Steam, and a PSP emulator. I might be able to use RPG Maker MV, that I have on Steam, with the OS. I'll find a way to use the Steam version of the other RPG Makers, that I have on Steam, that are windows only later. In case this PC really bites the dust. I won't have to start completely over, since I already backed up all projects this time.

Took me a bit to get the OS installed on my laptop because of some things. But it's okay now. Oh, and the PC I'm using is being more crazier than it normally is. It's gotten very slow until some things are caught up with it. I should probably scan the drive for errors tomorrow, just in case.

I got a sketchbook, and a mechanical pencil, some time ago. I guess I'll probably start my drawing hobby back again....... as soon as I can figure out what to draw in my head. Maybe one of my own characters, perhaps? Not gonna say that I'm good at drawing though.

Firefox is a little crazy on me on the PC. It closes upon being opened for about 1-2 times. Then I can actually use it. Huh. Might be some bug or something.

I use Seamonkey. Open-source variation of Mozilla. Never had a problem with it.

I might try that next time my PC decides to do a Boot Loop again.
