Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced he was sending officers to help them deal with the border crisis

We’re here today because we have problems in Florida that are not organic to Florida that we’ve been forced to deal over many years, but particularly over the last six months because of the failure of the Biden administration to secure our southern border. And, indeed, to really do anything constructive about what is going on in the southern border.

In the month of May alone, there were over 180,000 illegal border crossings, and 178,000 in April just before. In those two months, they nearly reach the total crossings in 2020 under Trump's policies.

If you go back 10, 20 years ago, you’d find where they’d be cooking this stuff up locally. It’s almost all coming across the southern border now, and it’s accelerated in the last six months.

This is Biden's doing. He did say (and you can see an example here) that he advocated free health care for illegals. And he signed an executive order to ban deportation for 100 days. Despite his claims that he didn't invite them, these are his actual actions.

Meanwhile, they're resuming the wall despite Biden.

As a Costa Rican I felt the need to add my 5 cents here. OIJ as it's spelled in Spanish is like a ridiculously small version of the FBI and they're in charge of the investigation. BUT, there's always a but, the AG refused to partake in the investigation for her husband is representing two construction companies involved in this peculiar case. Since this might eventually be linked to the president, she should be the one in charge but she isn't. What makes this even worse is that this is about the 6th time she steps aside in order to let other investigators lead the case. The excuse has always been the same...

By the way, those personal "favors" include things like what you'd expect to find in brothels and night clubs.

Jacobs is a known activist and photographer, the source of the photograph.. and one of the protesters. But instead of District Attorney Mike Schmidt prosecuting Jacobs and dozens of rioters, he instead goes after law enforcement.

Note that Portland refuses to pay for body-cams that the police could have used as evidence.  But hey, this was also the same 'Summer of Love' that had rioters burn down Churches and destroy federal buildings.

Tech entrepreneur John McAfee found dead hours after Spanish court approves extradition to US

El Mundo confirms the anti-virus software creator has died after Spanish high court allowed extradition to U.S.

The news of McAfee's death was first reported by Spanish newspaper El Mundo. The U.S. Department of Justice declined to comment and referred FOX Business to Spanish authorities.

McAfee, 75, said at an extradition hearing earlier this month that the charges against him were politically motivated. He ran for U.S. president as a Libertarian candidate in 2016, coming in third in the party’s primary.

McAfee was arrested at Barcelona’s airport on Oct. 7, two days after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission charged him with evading taxes and failing to file tax returns.

The Department of Justice alleged McAfee made over $23 million due to materially false and misleading statements about cryptocurrencies.

So why a millionaire would ever care about a couple of millions of dollars? They do avoid paying taxes and fines every so often. Elon Musk made his company lose a lot of money and he did not wind up taking his own life. This looks more like an inside job.

But what do you expect. The US border crisis was completely ignored by the current Biden/Harris administration. And during her trip to Guatamala, Harris and the administration was blasted by Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei stating that the Biden policies, and his family reunification policy were the root cause of human trafficking.

Note that the Harris trip to the border only came to news after former President Trump announced that he planned to visit the border and witness the crisis firsthand.

This practice is only done on request of officials with proper security clearance and just cause.

Note that it turned out that then Vice-President Joe Biden sought the unmasking of NSA designate Michael Flynn to spark the Russia investigation when Flynn had full authorization.

DC inmate becomes first incarcerated person in city to win elected office

Joel Caston, 44, won the race for advisory neighborhood commissioner of district 7F07 in southeast D.C., where he'll oversee the Harriet Tubman Women's Shelter, new luxury apartments and D.C. Jail — where he is incarcerated.
Advisory neighborhood commissioners are locally elected representatives who serve two year terms without pay and "were established to bring government closer to the people," according to DC.gov. The seat has been vacant for 12 years, and while elections are usually held in November, a technicality prevented a winner from being announced last year.
Caston has been incarcerated since he was 18 after committing a felony offense, Julie Johnson, the founder of Neighbors for Justice told NBC News.

Officials were considering closing Highway 395, a route popular with summer tourists.

A California wildfire underwent explosive growth Friday as the area north of Lake Tahoe braced for triple-digit temperatures this weekend amid a summer heat wave.

The Beckwourth Complex Fire on federal land near the town of Beckwourth prompted evacuations, a closure of part of the Plumas National Forest and presented serious danger for area campgrounds, National Forest Service officials said.

As the fire moved east toward Nevada, officials were considering closing Highway 395, a popular route with tourists heading to Reno, said forest service spokeswoman Phyllis Ashmead. A nearby rail line was also being threatened, spokeswoman Lisa Cox added later.

Their previous allegations of the need being racist turns out to be completely false, and Senators like Patrick Leahy (Vermont) and Joe Manchin (West Virginia) now support the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement act that would include Voter ID requirements for casting a ballot.

No one has ever objected to having to prove who you are to vote. It's been part of our nation's history since the inception of voting.

This quote is particularly showing as Ms Abrams (Georgia) previously stated in 2018 that ID laws were intended to "scare people out of voting" (the link leading to a video clip of her previous claims).

U.S. judge blocks new applicants to program that protects
undocumented ‘dreamers’ who arrived as children

A federal judge in Texas has largely halted an Obama administration initiative that grants work permits and reprieves from deportation to undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children — calling the program “unlawful” even as he allowed the more than 600,000 young people already in it to keep their protected status.

U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen sided with Texas and other states in his ruling that President Barack Obama overstepped his executive authority when he created the program.

Hanen’s ruling called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, an “illegally implemented program” and said “the public interest of the nation is always served by the cessation of a program that was created in violation of law.”

He prohibited the Department of Homeland Security from approving new applications, issued a permanent injunction vacating the memo that created DACA in 2012 — when President Biden was vice president — and remanded the issue to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for reconsideration.
