Sometimes you need to take a step backwards to go forward.
The system will include a feature called 'Large Party', which will let you go beyond the normal 4 members that RPGMaker XP limits you to have.... not that many people actually play with more than 4 members. BUT... it will require a tweak to the battlesystem, so you can show more than 4 in your window.
However, I had to backtrack to an old 2006 script by an old pal o mine to see what he basically did. It's not exact (still just one column in entries), just to get a feel for the mechanics.
OH... configuring the placement of the icons (shifting them over x and y on the screen relative to their matching texts), the left margins for the texts, all... have been set up now. Well, for the moment. Even the placement and fonts for the bottom help description bar at the bottom. Then, fix up the alignment options for the status window on the right. And once that is done, it'll be time to mog-it-up. Alter the windowskins, backgrounds, see about some sort of animation behind it or use the field map as a background (all of these being Mog-based options)
Oh... additional options will include 'Return of the Gold Window', 'Return of the Steps Window', and 'Return of the Time Window', just if the game designer wants one (or more) returned. Mebby a Map Display window too.
