It could have been like this...

Code:

1.upto($data_armors.size -1) do |i|
        next if $game_party.armor_number(i) == 0
        next unless Special_Items::ARMORS.include?(i) == special
            @data.push($data_armors[i])
      end

Just my two cents on the way some portions of that script were implemented XD
