Introduction

This is a humble script that should let you make customized weapons and armors, equip them via a modified version of Scene_Equip, and go fight as many monsters as Aluxes can kill before feeling sick of it.

Thanks to KWorkshop you can also make new weapons and armors or even any ordinary items, reforge broken equipment, lift curses, get healed. KyoGemBoost lets you add gemstones to your heroes and probably to weapons and armors, too!! Don't forget to sharpen your swords!

You can now activate gem slots via script calls or by opening the GemStoneMenu! Right, you may also define custom equipment names for smith's works or a tech's gadgets. You're even able to turn fellow heroes into events that can heal your party (for free as of now I think).

Just go check out each script's instructions to learn more about how to use it properly!

You don't need extra scripts? Well, you can now pick the Kustom XP Kiwi demo! It keeps stuff simple by never adding any gems or elemental stuff.

This script pack is free as in beer for demos, but game developers that include it in their free or commercial games will need to send me a free copy of their game without exceptions! I may also ask them to pay me a certain amount for crafting this script, especially if they are going commercial or they asked me to customize the scripts.

Okay this seems to be awesome but how can I set Gems to weapons and armors?
And how can I see which Gems are in my equipment?

I think the demo doesn't show all features of this script so far. o.o

Err, actually I mentioned scripts like KyoGemBoost XP so you could take a look at them, especially the events that demo includes. There you will see how to make new gems, tranform them, level them up. By calling the other menu you can set the gemstones in a hero's slots. Regarding the weapons and armors I got to say I have not implemented a menu to set them in slots. In fact that is what I have been doing since I had uploaded the latest demo. You got to wait till I finish working on the next version.

$scene = GemSynth_Menu.new
That will open the synth menu.

$scene = GemStone_Menu.new(hero_index)
This one will open the menu that allows you to set the gemstones in any active slot. A buzz will indicate the slot is inactive.

$scene = GemEquip_Menu.new(hero_index, equip_index)
This call is not currently available, but you may start using it right after I announce I have uploaded a new demo.

Then why did you say I did not include enough stuff in the demo?

Well, I have uploaded a new demo, but only as a thread attachment, I could not open the file sharing websites. (I'm using crappy IE so don't expect me to run fast and do all I want the way I want it...)

What's new? Err, we could say there's an additional menu for the Weapon or Armor Gemstone Slots, he, he. Plus there's a graphic for inactive slots as well...

That was rather based on the weapon/armor gem stuff.
I didn't know it was still in development at this point.

In the new menu i get this error when I press the UP or DOWN arrow key.

How weird! I really tried to prevent such errors, are you sure there was no hero with no weapon or armor equipped? If there is a single piece of equipment, there would be no way it could try to divide it by zero. I would need to get more detailed information regarding the heroes' equipment at the moment when you get that error message. While testing it I was sure I had solved such issues...

It appears when I start the demo and Aluxes has Steel Sword equipped.
Basil has no weapon equipped.

But even without basil in the party the same error comes up.

Well, I am tired if trying to edit the previous post so I tell you now that it happened because you have been an hyperactive tester and did not realize there was no gem slot! I fixed it, but I have not uploaded anything because I want to add a mini gem slot activation menu to the script.
