Kustom XP & VX & ACE

The latest release I have brought here should have fixed many of the recent bugs people had reported, and I could never confirm another. So feel free to download the demos, test them, tear them up to figure out how it works or find any other bugs (the latter not happening any time soon please ). Anyway the XP demo might already include ways to find stuff like Lithos or Magic Powder or Pokeballs if you're patient enough to wait for it to show up somewhere...

No bugs this go round. Found the Lithos and did some Poké-Crafting too. Still, I'd like to see item cursing and un-cursing. It's the only thing not featured in the demo.

That would be hard to find it there because items are not unique, they are handle just like the maker usually does... it is not worth adapting it just to curse them

I think he means the cursing of weapons and armors in general. That it's not included in the demo.

And I tested the new version and haven't found any bug. Everything seems to work now. :)

Well, I do think I included comments concerning script calls and he uses to read them so I would discard that theory in a flash. Anyway I am not planning to add any new features. Nobody tested VX and VX Ace versions...

I still hope for an integration of KElemres. That resistance on equipment stuff and especially the elemental Gems would fit so well into it.
And maybe a multi slot feature or at least a patch for another multi slot script to have unlimited types of unique equipment. :o

I will test the VX/VXA versions. But right now I'm still busy with the XP version and my game...and my free time is limited. :(

Meanwhile I cannot improve their codes because nobody tells me something is not working as expected I know, people undervalue VX for a few reasons, but ACE can be a pain for the code changes they included due to changes in the database GUI. Plus the lead developer always come up with unnecessarily complex solutions :S To be honest, KElemRES is nothing but a modified version of KyoGemBoost specialized in elemental stuff, but just as the original KyoGemBoost, it was designed for heroes only... Also every hero's stat is becoming some quite complex calculation, I am not sure if that really is convenient in the long term :S

I don't know that much how VX ACE works. I will just test the demo and see if there are bugs or crashes. o.o

But. I wouln't say KElemres is just a different type of KyoGemBoost. There are the different types of gems yes, but thats only one single feature of it.
It takes the very limited resistance system of RMXP on a whole different level and makes it complex and awesome.

I'm just thinking it would go wonderfui along with Kustom.

I stumbled about a new bug which is a little bit weird to reproduce.




This is what I've done:
I put a Bronze Shield into the chest.
I move the the cursor down to the next empty slot in the chest
Then I move it back up to the Bronze Shield and try to take it out of the chest.

I have confirmed the error you mentioned there and fixed it quickly. A few moments ago I have finally uploaded all three demos that actually include a new feature, failed sharpening attempts will break the weapons or armors. Before you only made a small payment, but now you get a broken product in return if the process failed. I cannot believe how evil I might become one day! By the way, there is a new intro in the XP version...
