Of the Forum Updates Happening, DerVVulfman reported that he was finally done archiving the last of the graphic resources within the RPG Maker Central Archive. His next endeavor is the Developing Tools board.

General Chat

This week's News of the World was explosive, be it reports of a youth arrested in Germany for planning a pipe bomb attack, or that nine of Donald Trump's prospective cabinet have become targets of bomb threats. And while a ceasefire was put in place between Israel and Hezbollah, both sides have stated the other are in violation. In a surprise reversal, President Zelensky said he would agree to cede territory to Russia to end the war, but this to become a member of NATO. President Biden pardoning his son of his firearms and federal tax verdicts, a nation-wide strike in Italy threatening to shut the nation down, and Palworld' unexpected defense against Nintendo also hit this week's news.

If you're curious to ask What's up with your fellow RMers, you'd find that Remi-chan finally went back to work on her project, and revamped much of her game's beginning. As an example, she presented a new let's play from the early part of her game with new graphics, new gameplay and new dialogue. And following that, she also received new content from both her sprite artist and portrait artist. On the flipside, kyonides is pondering how to create a strategy sandbox game akin to Age of Empires or Lord of the Realms, games where you send troops to take over regions of enemy territory. However, he is wondering how to implement factions into his project, tech trees, and the like within the RPGMaker environment.

When one visits the DoubleX Music Room, they have the option to select whatever piece from his budding library they wish And two new works have now appeared. His eighth composition, "Grief Indulgence" may have a recurrent melody throughout, but one that builds with anguish. And of DoubleX's ninth work, "It's All Over' is a melancholic threnody, one in which more instruments pile upon as if to reflect the forthcoming burdens perceived.

Art and Design

For those needing large, high-resolution textures for their woodwork, the Massive Library of Free Images that Eric Matyas now has a few more in which to choose. A new tileable wood texture now appears with a rough grain, but available both in green and dark walnut. And along with that, a new bark texture has appeared, one very rough and dark.

This week, Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing! now contains a new painting within its gallery, a painting of two dangerous women. One who exudes an air of calm, the other radiating a ravenousness appetite for power, yet both combined a powerhouse unmatched. Of course, a new Simian Speed Draw was also created so you can watch how Remi-chan created this work.

Literature

What now appears within Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~ is a small but important chapter from her current game. It heralds a battle to come, one where all of existence depends upon its outcome.
