Announcements and Updates
More Forum Updates Happened regarding the archive of RPG Maker Central, the last of the Development Tools forum finally added, while DerVVulfman set his site upon the now-extinct forum's Tutorial board. In apparent awe, Kaz applauded DerVVulfman for retrieving what she felt was long-lost content. Seeing her reply, DerVVulfman asked to have the word spread.

General Chat
This weekend, the News of the World had its attention on Biden's sweeping 10-year pardon of his son. But as it is mere weeks before Donald Trump reassumes the Presidency, there's talk that Biden plans more sweeping carte-blanche pardons for Fauci whom lied about NIH funding to China, Christopher Wray who refused to testify in Congress, Nancy Pelosi who was in charge of security on January 6, and the whole Biden family including himself. But not long after, the murder of UnitedHealthcare's CEO hit the headlines, the murderer's photo released to the public. In a disturbing twist, a look-alike contest was held in New York not long after. In the Middle East, the ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel was endangered after the Biden Harris Administration falsly reported that Israeli surveillance drones violated the agreement. In response, Hezbollah opened fire at Israel once more. And in Syria, rebel forces performed a stunning raid that forced Bashar al-Asaad to flee, ending the most notorious tyrannies in the world, one that used chemical weapons against their own people. As a precaution, Israel moved tanks into the Golan Heights to deter the rebels from attempting to cross whilst also worrying that the rebels may also seize the same chemical weapons. Trouble exists in other nations around the world, such as in France where Macron's recently installed Prime Minister just received a vote of no confidence ending his tenure, the shortest in modern French history. The Romanian presidential election of Calin Georgescu was cancelled once revealed Russia not only meddled, but worked to ensure his victory. And following his failed attempt at Martial Law, South Korea's President Yoon Suk-yeol is now under investigation of treason itself. Mexico working to dissolve Migrant Caravans after talks with former President Trump, civilian Russian ships firing flares at German Helicopters in the Baltic, Netanyahu thanking President Trump for his threat to Hamas over the October 7th hostages, the grand reopening of Notre Dame after five years, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
Events went up and down in the News of the Cyber World for Elon Musk as liberals now demonize the Tesla over Musk's current politics. However, his SpaceX Falcon 9 reusable rocket has now set a new record having now achieved 24 flights itself. Fingers pointed at Russia over claims of sabotage when a dedicated cable connecting Sweden and Finland's internet was cut twice overnight. While the head of the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) in the US urged anti-trust divisions to prosecute big tech platforms, Zuckerberg is looking for a way to be active in the upcoming Trump administration over tech policy. Intel's dismissal of its CEO, and Bitcoin also hit this week's cybernews.

Games Development
Development Discussion
Anyone for an alien lizard in a floating bowl? That's what you will get if you asked Remi-chan What's up as an RMers. From reports, her sprite artist finished some work on a character named Kikiyo while Remi completed more work on revised game scenes.

In the Maps and screenshots thread, kyonides provided a glimpse into his latest project, a game HUD depicting the food and resources for the player's kingdom not unlike that used by Age of Empires. Meanshile, Remi-chan provided new screenshots of her own project with some revised character sprites and profiles.

Upcoming Projects
This week, kyonides announced a new project, a strategy-based kingdom management and army management system he dubbed Klans XP. a likely successor to his KLords project of 2021, it is intended to be a mix of Age of Empires and Lords of the Realm where you build your economy and military forces while aligning yourself among the various factions.

This week, aabb821 gifted us with his Tricycle sprite, a tuk-tuk or cycle-pedaled rickshaw seen often in Asia. It was one he had originally posted within Creation Asylum many years ago, and he just asks for due credit if put to use.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
If you are working on a game set within a technologically advanced cityscape and desire a piece to set an enthusiastic stage as the player gazes upon an architecture never before scene, then you may find the latest piece within Eric Matyas's Original Music and Sound FX very much desired. Entitled "The Streets of Cybertropolis", it has a quickly delivered beat with a soft and slow paced harmony accented by a myriad of synth and tech-wave instruments. More pieces of this quality may be underway, however Eric Matyas has now been commissioned to score another game from the studio that created "Devil's Hideout" which he had also scored. But do not fret if you wish to hire him yourself, for he is willing to hear.

Art and Design
Clad with vestments of white, outstretching wings with feathers alabaster and accented with gilt, the Overture of Mercy had appeared within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing! Another character within the the 3.14 Multiverse of Remi-chan, this femme fatale is an angel most powerful. But do not let her title fool you into thinking she is anything but a ruthless machine of wholesale slaughter. It took ten hours for Remi to craft such a well-masked horror, and has a speed-draw video for proof.

Literature
It is easy to see that xxphantomxstarx is a fan of Sega's Speedy Hedgehog, so there is little surprise that the first chapter within Phantom's Random Writing topic would be an ode to the Cobalt-Quilled Rollerball. And of this chapter, the hero of so many games comes face-to-face with another hedgehog, one with a metallic gleam and hatred in his heart. As if working upon a novelization of Sonic 06, xxphantomxstarx worked to recreate the first battle between Sonic and Silver, and brings up the menace of Iblis itself.

JayVinci Studios
JayVinci Resources
The Resurrection of the "JayVinci" Sprites continues as JayRay began putting the Layered Spritesheet Tool by DerVVulfman to some use, even going so far as the motion/action list used in his Half Kaiser project. However, JayRay has reaffirmed he plans to develop his sprites with eight-frame/eight-directional animations.

Well, that's it for this week.
