Kirito spoke of the recent Server Crashes the forum had been experiencing, the ram not suitable enough at the time to perform maintenance tasks for the sheer size of the database. It required a reboot, but following a pair of recent server downtimes, kirito doubled the physical ram which should solve the issue with necessary memory for the automated maintenance procedures.

Who you calling "Chicken!?" That would be the question to ask either kyonides or DerVVulfman if you chose to ask them What are YouTubing? once you get them to stop laughing. If more hilarity, you can watch a video Remi-chan presented that roasts dome video game developers, even she being roasted in the foreseeable future.
Violence in the U.S. hit the News of the World this week, the first military veteran that joined ISIS who drove a truck through New Orleans' historic Bourbon Street on a mission of murder, the second also a veteran who committed suicide before blowing up his Tesla Cybertruck in front of Trump Hotel ,Las Vegas. Of the first, the FBI delivered contradictory information while the Police Chief admitted not using obstacles that could have prevented the attack. Of the second, the Vegas police thanked Elon Musk for the tools to aid in their investigation. While the motives of the two were totally different, both veterans served at the same military base and both used the same vehicle renting application, a vehicle renting company now under scrutiny for lackadaisical safety and security practices. Taking the New Orleans massacre as a call to arms, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters marched in New York City on New Year’s Day for “intifada”, and four gunmen opened fire in New York's Amazura nightclub killing ten. A U.S. soldier received a Grand Jury Indictment for his attempt to join a foreign terrorist organization, the head of the US DHS repeated statements that everyone entering the US is vetted despite those nations of origin refuse to share needed information, a new migrant caravan begins their march through Mexico, and much more hit this week's news.

Steel Beast 6Beets relayed What's up as an RMer when he had to perform an end run-around to re-install RPGMaker XP, though DerVVulfman had no difficulties with the same type of system. Yet, Remi-chan had similar issues which prevents her from using RPGMaker VX. There was a short query and reply between kyonides and Steel Beast 6Beets on which of the enterBrain engines was crafted in Delphi. And after that, Remi-chan revealed new spritework supplied by her artist and updated screenshots from her current game.
In the Maps and screenshots thread, kyonides has a new update visible within his Klans project, adding a start button to his system whilst preventing it from being enabled until a faction is chosen.

Upcoming Projects
The Alpha version has been released. Klans XP by kyonides has now reached a point where you can choose from three pre-defined clans and enter the map with the clan headquarters.

JayRay put forth a query to see if Big Maps could be adjusted to allow some maps to act as filler, suggesting other games such as NeverWinter Nights or Skyrim. However, DerVVulfman pointed out that none of the Elder Scrolls games after Daggerfall used filler maps, that they were all unique. And he detailed why filler maps would not be a good idea in general. But when the topic of expanding the maps beyond 999, Mel brought up a topic that should alleviate that need.

A new characterset has appeared amongst the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. True, only an animated water fountain, but Ace_V had some end-of-year committments that needed to be fulfilled.

Music and Audio
With the start of the new year, we get set of new compositions by Eric Matyas who is still Sharing His Original Music, and the two pieces could not be more diverse. His first work entitled "Bump in the Night" is a dark piece befitting crime ridden alleyways at night or a sewersystem with something malevolent awaiting. In a sharp contrast, "Rockin' Monster Beach Party" is a fast paced, light hearted melody with resounding heavy thump.
Art and Design
This week, we got blessed with a new wing to our forum's gallery, now opening a wing for jursed art. The gallery's grand opening was delayed for a time as the links to Jursed's paintings were flawed, but was corrected once DerVVulfman made that aware. Once corrected, the museum patrons were able to gaze upon new art, be it classic acrylics or more modern digital works.
If one wishes to gaze upon DerVV's Stream FrankenArts, they would gaze upon more substitution of characters from ChronoCross replaced with Siletrea's visage. However, there was an unexpected instance where the likeness of Siletrea was not the norm.

Well, that's it for this week.
