Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
This week, DerVVulfman relayed that continued work based on the archives was still among Updates and Happenings. But not that new forums were being archived, but that he was working upon a main index for all the archived scripts acquired.

General Chat
Early this week, the number of appearances US President Trump in the Middle East hit the News of the World, be it lifting sanctions against Syria, Qatar reacting to criticism of the plane gifted to the US, the release of an American Hostage held by Hamas, and the possibility of talks with Iran. In Europe, Germany suggests it will meet the 5% GDP commitment to NATO dues while the G5 Committee get ready to meet in Rome to discuss matters such as the Ukraine/Russia war. And while Ukraine's President indeed went to Istanbul for a face-to-face with Russia's, Putin was a no-show and sent a delegation to instead mock Zelenskyy. Panama asks the US to deal with cleanup after the last administration's migrant surge, the Wisconsin Judge who tried to defy ICE agents claiming her actions were under Judicial Immunity, former President Biden diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
Social media giants are facing the brunt of criticism in this week's News of the Cyber World, be it the annoyance of Europeans at Meta's new AI chat bot, Amazon looking to regain their EU's Parliament Badges after issues stemming from worker's rights and no-shows, and a database breack from TikTok may cost them plenty. Europe-wide ban on social media for underage youths and Youtube using AI to push advertisements into the most viewed portions of videos watched also hit this week's cybernews.

Games Development
Development Discussion
Spritework appears to be What's up with our RMers based upon the screen shots presented. DerVVulfman displayed a female Half Kaiser battler brandishing a makeshift spear template, claiming he will be focusing upon swords in the near future. And Remi-chan revealed spritework by our forum's Rune (or Xiie in other sites), the character of Patricia nearly complete.

Early this week, Solitaie returned and gazed upon Remi-chan's work within the Maps and screenshots thread. Following that, she posted a pair of animated shots of her own, both cavernous areas with her own stylized tilework with shadow effects revealed. But not just gifs, but a youtube video with the actual gameplay within her maps were presented.

Complete Projects
A new complete game has arrived this week, so be on the lookout for Bip-bip of the Eye! Crafted by Starmage, and a sequel to a game she made for a friend's birthday, it is a short game with a focus upon exploration and discovery, inspired by Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Eurocenter Games's (now Toonslab's) Graal Ol' West. Admittedly, not fleshed out, she suggests features like swimming need some work.

Tutorials
For those who do not use the Enterbrain engine, DerVVulfman released an early version of the Guide to Good Programming with Game Maker. An article created for Game Maker 4.0 by Allen Cheung, our resident werewolf had this within his backup files for two decades before release. However, it is a document that discusses proper code formatting, variable types, concepts such as inheritance, and much more.

Material Development
Scripts Database
RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
Within traditional battlesystems, your heroes are limited in how they may deliver an attack. By that, their attacks are always at the same degree of intensity and power. But this week, DerVVulfman delivered Ellemine's Power Attacks and Called Hits which lets the game developer create strength and accuracy levels for any attacker for either any or individual, though also suggesting that there may be a cost.

Resources Database
2D Resources
The classic RTP that comes with RPGMaker XP comes with a walking tree nemesis. However, it is all nice and lush with greenery. For those that want something more malevolent, the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V now includes a barren and fierce variation replete with dark red eyes and open maw. Ace_V believes it a perfect guardian of sorts for those forbidden areas the wize and pious would fear to tread.

Creativity Section
Art and Design
An update was made to Starmage's Free Resource Packs, this week still focusing upon nature itself. Three new full body portraits of sort, you will have access to a slender humanoid flower with red petals surrounding its pleasant face, a rather annoyed flying pea-pod man with stark red eyes, and a muscular man-hornet with a blood-tinged stinger and a massive curve-blade sword,

During Starmage's Arts and Training Journey, she was compulsed into a quest. Our wanderer had been booned to illustrate an individual before before his battle with a dark lord. However, this daring piece of art is without a hint of armor to show off this hero's strong arms and toned abs.

Some may not have been aware that she was under the surgeon's knife a week ago. But while she was in the hospice, illustrations and sketches were being generated for Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!. The main protagonists of Junked made an appearance with focus given to Solistace. But immediately after, characters from Fantasia appeared with the Nekomimi-like Grace, Wi caught vaping, and more.

Well, that's it for this week.
