Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Announcements and Updates
At the end of the week, Save-Point was introduced to The new Direct Compilable Code forum. It is a database or repository for software programs meant to be used when actively creating an application or executable, this unlike a script or plugin that requires an outside source to run.

General Chat
Sometimes, you need to let go. Sometimes you need to just chill. And some times you need to cruise. If that's what you need, ask AVGB-KBGaming What Are Youtubing? She may relay some tunes by British Columbia's 'A Shell in the Pit', the composer who also worked on Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2.

It is very much apparent that Maduro's capture by the US hit this week's News of the World with a bang, and now facing narco-terrorism charges in New York, Despite it being the same legal precedent used decades earlier against Noriega, there are world leaders who have issued complaints and gripes over the action. And even in the US, some have called for Maduro's freedom. However much of Venezuela, and many in exile, are celebrating Maduro's outster. And in the US, the Minnesota Scandal of the billions in alleged fraud continues to grow. After videos of Governor Walz bragging over the Child Care system currently under scrutiny for embezzlement went viral, the former VP candidate now desparately defends himself against the Somali fraud allegations. And only just revealed, whistleblowers were retaliated against in Minnesota, their vacations and promotions denied and all their actions monitored. The Russian invasion of Ukraine brought forth new tales as Russia made claims of Ukraine attempting a drone strike to kill Russian President Putin. This news reaching President Trump, but denied by Ukraine President Zelensky who likened it to another excuse to continue the war, and blasted as Russian propaganda and a lie by US CIA Director John Ratcliffe. As such, retired General Jack Keane called for ‘maximum sanctions’ on Russia upon seeing Putin's intent to sew distrust between the US and Ukraine. And upon seeing the successful operation to capture Maduro, Zelensky queried whether the same could be done to remove Putin for his war crimes and end the conflict. In the Middle East, Iran is becoming more unstable. Protests roared as the head of Iran's Central bank resigns, the country's economy having spiraled down since his appointment. Inflation is now at a crushing 42%. And as reports of Iran attempting to rebuild its nuclear program, nation remembered as the World's State Sponsor of Terror vows to crush any attackers after the US and Israel replied that said nuclear build up would not be allowed to continue. And while US President Trump renewed the ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia, touting the US more a peacekeeping force than the United Nations, Bejing issued a red-line warning intended to the United States as Chinese warships conduct military exercises near the waters of Taiwan; a sovereign nation and the last vestage of the original Chinese Government since the Chinese Communist party took the mainland. A fifteen-year security guarantee benefiting Ukraine in the latest US peace plan, Governor Hochul blasted for a $4.5 Billion expense for illegal aliens than New York citizens, North Korea’s test of nuclear-capable cruise missiles, the significant drop in crime across the US dropping despite violence in major cities and more hit this week's news.

Not that long ago, kyondes announced that the ability to trigger rumble-effects in gamepads was possible within the HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable. But before the year was done, he went a step further. By the New Year, kyondes introduced its ability to recognize different gamepads by their vendor ID, thus recognizing the different setups for their respective controllers, and differences between the Logitech generic gamepads and the popular PS DualShock 4 controller will be addressed. Even more, his latest update made this Sunday allows for custom binding options, even saving to rx/v/v2data files, and can be altered by scripted code. And just as it is with any other RPGMaker engine line, any attempt to rewrite the native Input class would run the risk of breaking the gamepad system. This quite often having occurred in RPGMaker scripts in the past.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
A recent update was made by kyonides to the BattleAktionFX script for RPGMaker XP, it as the result of his conclusion the gazette being in error when it reported that the random_skill option could access the "enemy's list of available skills" (as the second feature still states). In this, kyonides now crafted a new option geared to acquire from the 'foe's' list of skills alone.

Direct Compilable Code
With the newly crafted board for such code, DerVVulfman posted The MCISendString Multimedia Class for Visual Basic 6. For those who wish to create applications that play either music and/or video, he released software with support for various audio and video formats, adding support for windows defined in the application, and gave acknowlegement to the author of the code which it was based upon.

With an apparently filled hospital staff, your game may need something new. But what is old becomes new in a manner of speaking as you can find a player frozen within a block that is 'not-carbonite', but resembling such within the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. Indeed, you may now depict a character frozen with a scream on his face just as Han Solo was frozen in pain within the Empire Strikes Back.

Music and Audio
For those of a meditative nature, the compositions within DoubleX's Music Room may bring one a sense of self; for this week two new compositions had arrived. The first beginning with his own rhymic piano scales and with bassoon accompaniment is "Reflective Solitude", a calming piece for a time before some trademark woodblock effects reflecting the pain one may encounter, but later to be replaced by chimes and a bass drum for a short time as one is able to heal whether with aid or by time itself. And for DoubleX's second composition, he revisited a prior work from months ago, "Deeply Touched". Though it begins with heavy piano chords as the original, it is a slower piece yet just as thoughtful. Both look towards their fellow man with empathy, his description for the updated Mental Pain Relief edition showed how much people care.

Well, that's it for this week.
