Two-Stage Crafting

Two-Stage Crafting
Version: 1.0

Introduction

This system is designed for game developers who wish to make fixed crafting stations requiring the player to move from one station to simulate the experience of actively working.

There should be little confusion for the player in how the crafting system operates. One station is defined to allow the player select one or more pre-defined items in possession that are to be combined. And the other station requires the player to supply one more to finish the crafting service.

The system can use 'DerVV's Tutorial Windows' to bring up helpful one-time information screens. Optional, not manditory.

Features
  • Physical stations to perform the work
  • Requires going between two stations simulating actual activity
  • Able to create multiple stations based on a linking ID value
  • Define type of items crafted by element tagging
  • Able to have multiple ways to create a singular item
  • Use of charactersets/tilest graphics to represent the crafting stations
