@Ahzoh: What language do you speak? It appears Arabic but I never really was sure.

Got z-lined from IRC earlier :|
My love was on my computer so I tried connecting with other devices, none of which would work. Once I sat down that's when I realized my IP had been banned from the server for "too many connection attempts from one IP" or something of that nature, doh! All is good now though, the ban was lifted. I have a hard time getting anything done on nights that I miss our resident werewolf, but I should be on tomorrow.
Ah well, time to start the tasks for the night.

Oh, thank God. I was there for a WHILE trying to get someone's attention. All I got was other hanger-outers.

@Ahzoh: Arkhean? Vrkhazhii? Are these real languages or something you're making up for your game?
I was actually just wondering what language you speak, wasn't sure what it was. The letters are cool, is it Russian that you speak?

I don't know any Russian.
Got a new Galaxy S2, its great but typing is great pain in the ass, as the screen constantly scrolls up so that everytime you type you can't even see what you're typing!
But it's supposedly faster than my blackberry and has a microphone, very important for me, so...

Ah, making your own language, that sounds fun!
I was just visiting soundcloud.com right now and my son walks up, "Hey, what'cha doin'? Oh, soundcloud.com, eh? That's cool," then he runs off. The kid comes back five minutes later as I'm eating and he's all "Welcome to soundcloud.com!" At that very moment, as I turn toward him, he rips a nasty fart in my face as I'm chewing my food. When I got up to whoop his ass, I couldn't find him, he just vanished. Ugh, I can still taste it in my mouth, closest thing I can relate it to is headcheese and Fritos.
Right now he's asleep, I'm contemplating farting on his pillow or something.

Also for anyone to know, in my signature iz an example of one of my languages.

The work you're putting into making a new written language is amazing, I applaud the efforts. Are you familiar with the Star Trek series? According to something I read on the internet, apparently they give out college scholarships for people who can speak Klingon now. Maybe if you make a big pop culture hit, one day they'll give out scholarships for people who can read and write your languages. :D
The closest I've even come to contemplating languages in my project are rather simple-minded. One method would be a simple letter cypher, similar to Al-Bhed writing in Final Fantasy X (although I come to find that "language" is more complex than one would think.) Another method would be a change of fonts, from one using a standard recognizable text to another with completely made-up letters. However, I find your professional and academic approach to be very intriguing!
