What's on your mind?
Whatever happened to nice looking - and practical - wallets?
Ever since mine was stolen I have been looking for a new one and so far all I have come across are the same stupidly designed ones that you can't put any money into, or the ones that are to small for a pass and other required cards; bank, healthcare, libary etc.
Was I so lucky to have the been the owner of the one and only good design os has "fashion" struck in the years after I got mine?

Seriously, that is really irritating.

I have the same wallet that I won at a carnival 8 years ago... and it still works...

One of my best friends decided to go urbane, and get some high-priced wallet that had like secret compartments on it and was supposed to be slim...
So slim it broke in half two months later...

Then again, one of my friends from illinois decidded to make a ducktape wallet, and the thing still works. Go figure.

Simplicity is the best weapon... after all

I made a handwriting of my (constructed) language's native script:

It reads "he noplokh teshal e tarhittan ma sentisten." which roughly translates to "he sowed the seeds of deceit upon the world"

Alternatively it looks quite nice in Hebrew letters:
הי נפלח תשל אי תרהתתן מה סנתסתן

It appears fairly... um, what's the word... practiced. Same thing over and over. Ever try to write it in a more natural or relaxed manner? Writing something in cursive usually lends to mistakes, slight alterations, distinction between those writing. Granted, that may be difficult as it is not an actual native language.

I never write cursive, I print all my letter, like I did these letters.

Eh, I decided to complete abandon my conlang Arkhean, as I have been fully focusing on Vrkhazhian. So I'll be getting rid of the translation in my signture.

I have an Omniglot page for Vrkhazhian's constructed writing script

Today I was reminded of something.
If you have an idea, that is more then "just an idea, one that you actually want to turn into something - do it. If you wait to long, someone else will take it from you.
It doesn't matter that you have proof that you had the idea first, it does not matter that you have been working on it secret for a while. It does not matter which one is better.
Whoever made it known first, will be first. Anything else will be "just a copy of that".

And a counter example of this would be Minecraft. Started as a clone of Miner Wars, now it is pretty popular. Doing something first is not so important. Doing it better is.

Now I have a cursive version of Alphabet:
