Hi,
is there a way to avoid overlapping when making sprites wider than 32px?
well, this is awkward
I'm also asking becase I'm still messing around with the crates (there are even more shapes and sizes - please note: the crates in this screenshot are part of the tileset).
When I asked about tilesets vs sprites for crates the answer was sprites. But I guess people thought I was just talking about small crates for loot etc. that fit the 32px width.
With the bigger crates I'd run into the same problem as with the Elcor sprite and there would be overlapping.
Is having a transparent tile marked with X an option? To block out areas where you intend to put a big sprite and thus block that area for the player?
best wishes
