Hello and good day!
The point of this thread isn't so much to pine romantic over famous game creators and contributors (although that is allowed too) but to create a fantasy dream team of developers you probably know from the internet; be it members of this forum, people on RPG Maker Web, Creation Asylum, HB Games, CrankEye, Way of the Pixel, Sound Cloud, etc. So it doesn't necessarily even have to be anybody from a generally RM-related website but preferably somebody who can at least be reached or whom you'd actually be likely to interact with.
Again, I have no problem if you list Dan Houser (GTA series), Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid series), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy composer), but I'd rather hear about average internet game developers who aren't necessarily famous but could one day become a big success in their own right. Then again, go ahead and post famous developers too if you'd like, there isn't exactly a rule against doing so.
Who do you value and look up to? Who happens to be great enough to spark inspiration in your heart and mind? If you had the budget to hire and recruit people to put together a commercial game, who would you most likely try to contact and what role(s) would they play in the development cycle? Feel free to list yourself in there too; would you be an executive producer, artist, composer, professional ideas person, programmer, all-of-the-above?
My Development Dream Team
I'll start first by listing my personal dream team. Just because somebody may not be listed doesn't mean they're not awesome in their own right. Matter of fact, I don't really know any of the newer people who came onto the scene after VX Ace was released, so you're most likely going to see some old-school names on here, some who probably left the scene a long time ago. Without further ado, here goes...
