I'm looking for someone who wants to help by providing animations for the first release of the game.
The game will use preliminary resources, the portraits from VX, the battlers from disgaea, and animations based on the RTPs. I want to put a few classes in it, and I need animations for the weapons. I need 4 animations for each of the following weapons: sword, gun, axe, bow.
3 animations for a single target, with increasing level of "strength", and one animation for multiple targets, filling the whole screen. I can only accept complete sets made of the four animations for the same weapon of your choice.
You will be repaid with a mention in the credits.

wow really nice, although I couldn't play with someone :D but the menus are really nice and smooth, the whole layout doesn't even look anymore just like rpg maker. I can see very much potential in this game

MMO's aren't really my thing, but I recognize your effort and skill ^^
This is really impressive. I couldn't play with anybody either, but it doesn't matter. This game has a bright future.

2nd demo released.
I wrote a google app that serves as a server (:|) now, so you can play online by selecting the Web Server option. Make sure you have port 55556 reachable if you want to host a game.

I have put an exp system. Characters get exp points as they make each single action, instead of at the end of the battle. This way players get rewarded for any minute of playing. Characters can also level up during the battle!

One thing less to show in the result screen (^ ^) which is going to be used for UPs and treasures only. I still have to decide how to determine the amount of UPs for the winners...
