To me it seems like its almost like the normal map making system . But the fact that it alows you to make different shaped maps is the reason why im downloading it .

Yeah the features are from a bunch of different map editors

(Mappy, Tiled, etc.)

I didn't like any of them so I am making my own :P

though a note to RMXP/VX users this program will not violate the map set up

so for RMXP you will be forced to have 32x32 tiles restricted to 3 layers and other stuff
if you want the full flexibility you will have to write your own tilemap engine that can read my map format
and then display the map correctly.

And for VX you only get 2 layers haha

Wow!
I thought trickster was like legendary now.
do you use Direct X or OpenGl libraries to make your C++ games?

I use OpenGL but not directly I use a library that interfaces with OpenGL its called SFML - http://www.sfml-dev.org/ - its kinda new at the moment but its functional, its a lot better than SDL which I found was too simple and didn't do a lot of things I wanted.

what I am beyond legendary hahaha
