Save-Point Community Game

This seems interesting and it would be something to do when I'm not working on Demon's Revenge. I can do some mapping. And ummmm.... lol what else am I good at? Possibly some light coding I guess... By light I mean just getting simple things to work with each other.

I'm thinking that we should have a community RTP for this game as well. I like your tilesets and would love to see some more original work like it. I personally have a problem with starting from scratch, but I'm great at recoloring and revising. Mapping is something I'd like to worry about after we get a theme and the story more worked out.

I'm good at event-based systems if you need something

That's awesome. While most people can do event based systems, it takes a person with a passion for it to effectively get them into the game.

It might take a while though since I will only be working on it when I have free time from my game. Did you come up with more to the story? Do you need help with it? Any character development going on?

I'm figuring I'll take a director kind of stance on this project, so that way we have someone guiding people's talents to where they'll be. If there is something in particular you want to do, just post it. Just like in the bedroom, I'll try anything once in a project.

I was thinking since the story that's posted right now is a couple months old, we could start from scratch. I never really had any story in the first place, but we could use it for a guideline. Did you have any ideas yourself yet?

Of course we will use you name generator. That's the purpose of a community project. It's a way of utilizing everyone's talents into a single game, allowing everyone to shine, whether they are new to the program or a seasoned veteran.

I like your music. Especially "Syras Theme." I think we'll need to wait on musical composition until the story starts coming along so we know what kind of style we're looking at. I was thinking of some neo-gypsy jazz personally ;)

Didn't say you didn't have a talent for music. I just don't like the style of your music for MY game. And the example you put up to show professional work just didn't quite match up to the rudeness you brought to my thread. Some of your OTHER stuff are decent though. And we would like original music for this game so if you are down for it, please help with that.
