RMXP SKill animations too bright (overlaying the battle screen)

Hello all!! I'm currently using Mascaporne's really wonderful animation packs for a different project I'm working on.. But I'm having a problem with it in game..

it's just that, all the animations tend to become too bright and I can no longer see the battle menu.. Is there any way that I can change it in the scripts so that the battle-menu won't be overlayed by the battle anims??.. like the battle anims can be as bright as they can, but the battle-window would still be prioritized and I can still see the "Attack, Defend, Item, etc." without the battle animations covering them all over the place! x((

Well, battle animations are not just drawn over enemy battler, but the actors that appear within the same layer as the battlestatus window, ala your battle menu. So it is pretty much a real problem given the need for them to be drawn over actor battlers

Confused Wow, it is still only version 1.16? Um, dude? I translated this version into English YEEEEEAAAARS ago. Hahaha... he hadn't upgraded it since? Mwahahaha... Search this forum for RTAB and you can find an English version of 1.16 as well as English versions of his plug-ins.

Um, okay. Well, battle animations have to be drawn over the battlers, including the Actor battlers. So you are going to have an issue alright... so you're gonna have to tweak the animations themselves as I see it.

Hi DerVVulfman!! Oh wait!! OMG really?? You have an english translation of RTAB!? I will search for it right away!! haha!! I just decided to use that link cause I found it here:

Whee!!! I'm in there! Actually, I'm in there a bit more than you know.... But that's another story.

I should give a warning, since it in the video, the first name in the list in fact. The KGC's battlesystem (and their scripts) are not available for commercial use (if anyone wants to sell their games). I translated their terms of use from Japanese into English and saw you can't even post his scripts anywhere else. No public posting, no commercial usage, no kidding.
