I just sent this to Sales Support - Enterbrain (English language branch):

There are two other 'popular' engines of the RPGMaker series: RPGMaker 2000 and RPGMaker 2003.

I am aware that these titles are old and have been translated into other titles without supervision by Enterbrain. However, there appears to be some communities that still use these two engines outside of Japan.

I am curious. Would there be a chance that legal English versions of these two titles may be made available in the future, perhaps updated for the newer Windows7 64 bit OS?

If I get anything back, I'll inquire about a new RPGMaker .... OUR kind (the best of both worlds).

I got a reply. They're just salepeople and only have license for the big three (XP, VX and IGMaker). They don't see RM2K or 2K3 coming back, and don't know of any plans by Enterbrain to work on any newer system right now.
