I guess it may be me. The error message gave me the Class where the error lay, the line number, and what it involved. Because of that, it took me 10 seconds to replicate the error. 
If RUBY shoots you in the foot, at least it tells you that you have a hole in your foot. If C+ shoots you in the foot, you may end up taking aspirin thinking it's a head cold.
